The Lionesses will take on Portugal and Spain in the upcoming international break

Five Arsenal Women players have been called up to the England squad for Nations League fixtures against Portugal and Spain.

Lionesses captain Leah Williamson is joined in the 27-player squad by Arsenal teammates Chloe Kelly, Beth Mead and Alessia Russo, as well as Michelle Agyemang, who spent the season on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion.

Agyemang retains her place in the squad having scored on her debut last month, coming off the bench against Belgium. The Arsenal academy graduate was named Brighton’s Young Player of the Season.

Arsenal defender Lotte Wubben-Moy misses out, having not played regular football under Renée Slegers this season.

England face Portugal at Wembley on Friday 30 May before travelling to Spain on Tuesday 3 June.
