Arsenal TV online free to all for three nights

File under: Plug (unabashed), return favour or blatant abuse of position – depending which temp’s in this week.

By Kevin Whitcher

Ok, our old chums at Arsenal TV online have been in touch, and they are such nice folks when they ask us for a plug that it would be rude to refuse. In the interests of transparency they are also good enough to let me have a six month rolling subscription in return for me posting notice of these promotions. It is, unquestionably a wicked and corrupt world. Did I ever mention I was born and spent my formative years in the town where that Tory MP claimed over £6k for a floating duck house? I have no doubt that this underhand nonsense has been hugely influential on a subconscious level and hereby offer my resignation as an MP should I ever be elected.

Arsenal v Wigan 2006: Streamed online gratis on Thursday evening. Thanks to Atomicshed – prints of the final game at Highbury can purchased here

Anyhow, this is the deal. Thursday through Saturday this week, you get free access to Arsenal TV online’s evening programming. Match highlights tomorrow evening, Arsenal Live and Fans’ Forum on Friday and the matchday show on Saturday. More extensive details here. I wonder if Arsene Wenger will field a 3-4-3 formation v Stoke in sympathy with the promotion? Probably a better idea to get someone to stand in front of Rory Delap when he’s taking a throw really.

The bottom line is that those who do not already subscribe to Arsenal TV online sample the goods and are tempted into parting with their money to get full time access to the facility, which does admittedly include a huge archive of past action, features, interviews and the chance to watch recent matches again in the entirety.

Think I’ve justified my six months’ free access with that plug, but next time around, I’m willing to consider a floating duck house as sufficient incentive.
