Re: Brentford bulbeyes A (12pm Sunday 18th Sept)
Due to work I missed the game live but delighted with the result. At the start of the season had you said we would have 18 points and be top of the league I'd have absolutely taken it. Delighted for Vieira with his goal and I think he'll prove to be a huge signing. One thing that bugs me is the non...

Re: Brentford bulbeyes A (12pm Sunday 18th Sept)
Masterful performance. We didn't give Brentford a moment to breathe in that game. I can't believe I'm going to say this but Xhaka was my man of the match. I thought he was excellent. Pinpoint cross for Jesus' goal. Defended well and passing was excellent. Don't think he lost possession either. It's...

Superb, mature performance. Never let Brentford into the game.

He hasn't had much luck with fitness since joining has he. Luck ?? Around here we label our players sick notes and demand that they be moved on for missing less time than he has since he joined  At what stage are fans gonna start slating him for being injured again ? PS - let me add that I am...

Re: PSV Eindhoven H Thurs 15th Sept KO 8pm
Brentford on Sunday has to be postponed then? It’s the day before the funeral, the last day the public can see the Queen’s coffin and presidents/prime ministers all start arriving in the capital. If Police are over stretched on Thursday, Sunday there’s no chance. Then it’s international break so 4 w...

Ridiculous to cancel all fixtures. What an opportunity missed to show respect in the stadiums!
Total disrespect to the fans to cancel at such short notice. Refund all flights, trains and hotels.

Re: Modern Football Bol**cks
Why do we, as fans, expect managers to be loyal to clubs, when clubs don't repay loyalty? In most walks of working life, when a bigger organisation headhunts a person with greater opportunity and wages, they would move. I'm sure Brighton will be reasonably compensated. I don’t expect loyalty mate; ...

I thought Bissouma cost much more than £15m?OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2022 12:09 pmStill grinds my shit that edu & Arteta let a decent midfielder like Bissouma go to the scum for £15mill - He would have been a Huge upgrade on Clive.

Obviously I understand why he’s done it but Potter abandoning Brighton after 5 games of the season is pretty rotten. Didn’t deserve that at all.

Re: Aaron Ramsdale...worrying
Didn't Ramsdale let one in at the near post last week or the week before. I think that stuck with him and he was overcompensating Yeah possibly, or Antony gave him the eyes and he fell for it? Either way, looked an odd decision given that 99% of the time that shot it being curled into the far corne...

Re: Aaron Ramsdale...worrying
A left footed player cutting in like antony was is always gonna curl it to the far corner, yet ramsdale covered his near post   Yeah, very odd decision. Looked all day long like he was going to curl it into the far corner because they almost always do from that position. I wonder if A...

Re: other matches this weekend
Really not liking Aubameyang playing for Chelsea. It’s one of those sights that will annoy me every time I see it… I had a similar reaction every time I saw RVP and Fabregas in rival teams as well. Obviously Cashley too for a long time until he eventually blended in with the other Chav twats.

Re: Shower of dirty cheating Manc filth who ended our record unbeaten run by being dirty cheats A Sun 4th Sept KO 430PM
Still irritated about the United game and the Premier League weekend in general. Delighted with how we played but the re-refereeing of games that has robbed Arsenal, Newcastle, West Ham, Brighton and neutral fans of genuinely fantastic goals and great Premier League moments have been spoilt by the p...
