Re: Brilliant Ian Wright interview

The whole thing about the estate going on holiday together and waiting for his old man. The joy of playing for us and the emotion you could see in him when he saw his old teacher and took his hat off through respect in an instant. Seems like a bygone era even though it was so recent. You'll never se...

Both top beers! I agree. Apparently the Gunners has been doing Doombar for a little while now.
That's more like it.

Re: beer in europe - WTF???

The microbrew/craft beer scene in London has exploded and ales, craft beers etc are proving very popular. You need to know where to head to be in the right sort of company though - where people fancy something more than cabbage-water Carlsberg. Next time you're about in London, for interesting beer...

Re: Too many man u fans down south

Check out this one that I picked up from the BBC feed Shaheer Farooq on Twitter: "As a Man Utd fan that hurt. As a football fan that was amazing. City deserved it. We'll be back next year." I'm sorry, if you're a man utd fan that would not be amazing in any way shape or form. :banghead: W...

Re: Arsenal Home Kit 2012/2013

It's unveiled tomorrow I believe. It's hideous, looks even worse when actually on the players. You're right. It does look worse with the players wearing them! They're selling it on a 'Mod' angle I think. (I'm assuming that anyway, since an 'RAF roundel campaign' wouldn't really be as globally marke...

Re: Away fans away from the pitch?

Couldn't it also directly affect our atmosphere too though? I am in favour of cheaper tickets for our own fans... but I fear the dynamic and atmosphere that seems to be building around the ground at the moment could be lost if the away fans are relocated. Just as a vaguely related aside: I have a ma...

Re: new here

Hello mate and welcome,

Can't relate but a mortgage and kids must be a real stumbling block to getting over the Arsenal.

As for loving Reading, I prefer Newbury myself but each to their own...

Good to have you :barscarf:
