Not sure Citeh are 'down to the bare bones' but Savic is currently making Squillaci look like Bobby Moore.

Not that I think AW is secretly meeting Hazard, Goetze and Podolski, but none of the bigs clubs (in fact most Premier League sides) have bought anybody yet. I remember a time when transfers were negotiated and agreed prior to the window opening and then completed in the first week, but in recent tim...

Nyron was a beast. started off at RB but played CB was a striker for a while as well. I suspect he's not so fondly rembered at Sunderland.

I agree that Song rose above his previous shit performance level with that pass, although I was always told that finding space in a good position is the hard part. Kicking a ball in a straight line to that player should be the easy bit.

Anyone going for the weekend (or arriving early) should head for the Mumbles and if you get the opportunity to neck a pint of Felinfoel, do it!

Freeman was yet another product of the (not very) famous Gilligham production line and is an example of how the careers of young 'prospects' have changed. Once 'prospects' such as Steve Bruce and Tony Cascarino (both Gillingham legends) went to a club in a higher league and then onto a top club. Our...

A truly shit boring performance for 70 minutes, a Gooner nightmare with Chamakh, the fat Russian and Squiddily Diddily plus Ramsey's carelessness, Song's stupidity, another fullback injured ......... ...... and then ........ God is a Gooner! Also, given that we generally play at a snail's pace these...

I'm sure they practice shooting and I suspect they do brilliantly in training, but in a match environment when the pressure's on their brains seem to turn to jelly.

Very embarrassing for King Kenny and Liverpool.

They came out in defence of Suarez, crappy T-shirts et al, convinced he was innocent but now aren't going to appeal.

Sensible but not very logical.

I wouldn't trust the Board to find their own arses in the dark. I have issues with AW, but I detest the invisible Board that we've ended up with. If a manager is not leading the club in the right way it's the responsibility of the Board to do something about it. I think it's time for AW to go, but I...

Maybe it's because we're both basking in sunshine at the moment, but I again agree with BG. There is no problem asking for opinions, but in asking for them from "AW supporters" you are implying that we are all either 'supporters of', or 'not supporters of' AW, when with many (most?) of us ...

I agree with BG. None of us have witnessed an AW team talk so we can't know what is said. Also, different managers have different approaches. Some shout and scream, others don't. Some analyse every detail, some (Clough) only worry about what their own team is doing. Most footballers don't seem buddi...

If your point is 'be careful what you wish for' I'd completely agree. As fans, we're quick to slate a player if he has a bad game or two. I'd also agree if you're making the point that the replacement players we've bought are not up to the standard most of us would want (although we should be carefu...
