I still think that they should hire Alistair Campbell ;-)

It seems that Arsenal these days are more concerned about projecting the right image to people than actually doing anything on the pitch.

Do you reckon that they have Alistair Campbell doing their PR?

Two pieces of news in the papers this morning - kieran Richardson in a swap for bendtner, and Arsene swooping for Swansea's Neil Taylor at LB. Richardson is a gooner allegedly. I've never rated him, but as an LB he may fit. 2 goals and three assists in 18 games...more than Arseshaving n Rosicky com...

I would love to see us pick up Van Bommel (6 months on his contract) and Arteta. Both are experienced and Van Bommel is a bastard with a cannon of a shot. We need this!

Also, would like to see Podolski come in for a swap with Bendtner. Podolski can also play on the wings.

I have to wonder a little if there wasn't some sort of pre-meditation in this. We had a rumour a few days ago suggesting a link with Van Buyten, Djourou praise on the official site and Alumunia (who probably will get the captaincy) coming out with some comments on the site as well all in the course ...

Basically, I think that when Arsenal score first, then no problems - it will be a very open game like last night. But when we don't, it's a problem. Then it is 10 men behind the ball and we are passing sideways hoping to get a counter attack from their non-existent attacks... It's great to see so ma...

Same again

The thing is that Wenger doesn't go out looking for these people that are tough in the tackle. He usually goes for the engines who are tecnically gifted. He hasn't ever bought anyone decent as a defender, except for Sol and Toure, which was the best defensive partnership for the past 5 seasons. The ...

Not good enough...

I wholeheartedly agree with the article. I think that there is more depth at the squad than what people think, but Wenger doesn't see it that way so players can play with a certain lethargicness which is sickening. These players need to be dropped. What kind of a message does Bendtner (or any youngs...

Webster Clause

In case anyone is interested - This ruling in fact has established an addendum to Article 17 allowing a player who is between the ages of 23 and 28 to move in the final year of a four or five year contract provided he hands in a request to the club no more than 15 days after the end of the previous ...

I reckon that he will be fine there. Gattuso is about as skilled as Flamini, so I don't think that it is going to be an issue with him settling. Obviously, everyone wants him to be awful, but I just can't see it happening.

He can't cross very well. Plays too narrow and has a very weak shot. Useful squad player who can play all over the midfield, so I'd be inclined to keep him. I seriously doubt that Wenger has enough money to effectively replace him and Flamini, so I think that he will be at Arsenal next year. If he d...

I don't get the criticism of Flamini. I agree with alot of the positives that has already been said about him. He fights, he shouts at players and shows alot of leadership qualities that other players lack. He also has a tendency to - gulp - score goals, despite what people think of his skill level....
