Re: Barca whores
And did anyone see the nauseating reaction in the studio of Linker, Owen, Gerrard and Ferdinand on BT to the 6th goal? That looked dodgy to me too, Lineker pretending to be embarrassed  Why were the cameras even filiming them? Did they set it up afterwards? And if it was genuine why are they ...

Re: Bayern home game thread ,
Will be interesting to see the attendance in the ground. I can't imagine why any ST holder would go to this rather than sell their ticket (seems to be enough tourists snapping them up on the TX). I can't get my head around that, aren't the tickets cat A so like £80-90?, wtf is the appeal?. Genuinel...

Has to be tourists. I can't imagine why anyone would want to watch that, especially at £64 a pop minimum.perrygrovesworld wrote:Somehow, people (or touts) are interested in the second leg non-event. Put two tickets on Ticket Exchange at 06:50 and they had sold by 06:55.

Re: World Cup Expanded to 48 teams
TBH I quite enjoyed the dregs of the 32-team World Cup. You'd see mental teams like Honduras or North Korea. Or teams that would bust a gut because it might be their only WC for a decade. But at least you knew that even those minnows had worked to get to the finals. This will just dilute it to an ab...

Re: We've signed Bramall, Cohen Bramall, I just don't think you understand
What happened to Eisfeld? Ryo? Toral? And my personal favorite Park Chu Young! TBH I don't have a problem with these kind of signings, as long as the club/Wenger keep them quiet. There's no need to make a big song and dance about it when 95% of them aren't going to make the first team and are just u...

Re: Bournemouth (A) | PL | Tue 3 Jan 19:45
Probably no harm done in the celebration, but it still made me irrationally angry and I'm happy to admit it's irrational. By all means go apeshit when we get to 4-3 but until then button it up and stay serious. A draw was still a shit result. I like Giroud but he's maddening. Pulls off the sublime a...

Haha, just seen we managed to fend off Palace and Sheff Wednesday to sign him. We're competing with the elite of European football alright!

Re: We've signed Bramall, Cohen Bramall, I just don't think you understand
Don't know why people are moaning, this is a great signing! Develop him for six months, send him out on loan to a League One next season, where he tears it up. Year after he goes to a Championship club for six months, tears it up and then in January 2019 we sell him to Wolves or Ipswich for £3m. Tot...

Re: Manchester City (A) | PL | Sun 18 Dec 16:00
When Özil looks good, he looks sublime. When he looks bad, he looks like he doesn't give a toss. Apart from the first 15 we were shite, I've no idea why some reports are saying we bossed the first half. I was expecting City to equalise in the last five of the first half! Not surprised only a couple ...

I haven't been to City before, what's the pub situation? Is it like United, Piccadilly Tavern and that other one and then the train/tram to the ground?

Looking for a pair for this one. Able to do ticket transfer and I'm on the trusted list.

Re: against the bus
Wouldn't mind seeing the likes of Xhaka, Elneny and Özil try and take some pops from 25 yards. If we had a few shots from outside the box in the first 30 minutes it would plant the idea in the opposition's head for the rest of the game that we're not just going to be doing tippy tappy around the box...

Re: My First Football Match
Born in '92 and whilst I know there were many that I can't remember as a toddler at Highbury and Loftus Road (Dad's a QPR fan), I still recall going to Highbury for a midweek game against Sheffield Wednesday around 1998-9. We won 3-0 with all the goals in the last 10 minutes. Also seeing Lens and Ba...

Re: Is modern footbll going to the dogs??
Re: the highlights programmes. They will be slowly eliminated over the next decade because fewer people are going to watch them when you can see the goals you want about 60 seconds after they've been scored on Twitter (certainly the PL anyway). It will be a slight shame because of the nostalgia of M...
