Re: West Ham -HOME - Sat. Aug 25th 3PM
If Dick wants to dig us out of this hell hole the French cunnt left us in, he needs to do 2 very simple things - ditch the previous playing philosophy COMPLETELY and instil some defensive discipline from back to front. It seems to me there's some strange appetite inside the club to perpetuate le fra...

Re: West Ham -HOME - Sat. Aug 25th 3PM
rumours are that Bellerin got dropped to the bench in favour of lichsteiner, but Ramsay back in & Xhaka dropped. I'm nervous about this one. we need to start the game brightly and put one in early doors. Hopefully Xhaka, Mustafi and Bellerin are ditched. Xhaka's lack of awareness without the ba...

Re: West Ham -HOME - Sat. Aug 25th 3PM
Emery doesn’t have good record against Pellegrini In 12 games, he has won 3 lost 6 Last home game against the Hammers towards end of last season was touch and go until late in game We should be too strong but that manager v manager form is concerning These managerial records are as useful as a choc...

Re: Chav$ Away 18/08 @17:30
Xhaka must be benched at all cost. He was one of the major root causes of our pathetic away record last season I thought the root cause was our inability to defend as a team and not getting the basics right when marking. Team wide issues exist but Xhaka a big part of the problem hence one of the ma...

Re: Chav$ Away 18/08 @17:30
Xhaka must be benched at all cost. He was one of the major root causes of our pathetic away record last season, consistently going AWOL from the centre and consistently caught ball watching. Choice between Ramsey and Ozil. I don't care who plays but both cannot be on the pitch at the same time.

Re: Man City HOME Sunday August 12th 4pm
a bit worrying how city dismantled Chelsea in the community shield when the chavs bossed us last Wednesday the same, Emerys record against the top managers is poor,a decent result would be a draw,if emery sets us up to keep it tight and defend and to rely on Aub and Laca on the break then we can ge...

Re: Man City HOME Sunday August 12th 4pm
If the Community Shield is anything to go by, next week will be a very tough game for us . Perhaps expecting a win is a bit optimistic at this early stage of the team rebuild. On a personal note, this will be the first home game of the season I have missed for over 2 decades. Note to oneself, don't...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
We came pretty close to winning the league with a bunch of kids back in 2007/08 so I was a pretty firm AKB back then. I was pretty late to the party due to a misguided a sense of respect for his prior achievements but the one result that made me join the dark side for good was the shit show against...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Ok, after the euphoria of the announcement yesterday the reality of trepidation has set in.... Now don't get me wrong, the old deluded *word censored* can get to fuck as far as I'm concerned and good riddance! But what fills me with trepidation is the potential for fuck ups to come from those in ch...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Not one for I told you so but earlier in the season when some of us said that we'd reached a new phase in this deep decline, some on here argued this season wasn't going to be any different, fixtures were in reverse order and Wonga's deal with devil was intact. The expectation was that we'd at least...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Bayern Munich have announced the young vibrant Niko Kovac as their new manager in advance of the CL semi final tie against Madrid. Why aren't Arsenal doing the same and clarify Wenger's future you may ask. It's because Europa cup success would almost certainly guarantee Wenger another season. It's u...
