Re: How to solve the Ozil problem?

Mesut Özil will not succeed at Arsenal as long as Arsene Wenger is the manager. He will either be played out of position, or played in position but with shite around him.

Re: 11pm Monday 1st September TRANSFER THREAD

Well, that being the case, it suggests that any transfer business that we're going to do is already done - which isn't out of the question. I think the Özil transfer was done a few days before deadline day. Anyway, Augie suggested yesterday that our transfer dealings were better off when Wenger was ...

Re: 11pm Monday 1st September TRANSFER THREAD

I'm not upset that we're not getting Falcao. Only a fool would have thought we were in for him to begin with. It's just frustrating that everyone around us is showing more ambition.

United have replaced RvP before us!

Re: 11pm Monday 1st September TRANSFER THREAD

Word on the street is that Falcao to United is done. If that is the case, may this forever stand as the death of the myth that dictates that failure to qualify for the Champions League means you'll be skint and that you won't be able to attract the world's best talent. Is Falcao the player that Unit...

Re: Leicester (A)

Apart from a 5-10 minute stretch in that half, the play has been too slow. Far too often we've allowed Leicester all the time they need to get everyone back behind the ball. Once they've done that, we're always likely to struggle. What isn't helping is that Cazorla and Ramsey's passing in the middle...

Re: Leicester (A)

Alright; here's a prediction. Ready?

Sanogo scores two today and kick starts his Arsenal career, seeing him go on to score 20 goals in all competitions this season.

Re: 11pm Monday 1st September TRANSFER THREAD

Chips and Augie; No doubt - I completely agree. While I'd remind people that our "war chest" is for transfer fees and wages, there is no denying that we have a significant amount of money to spend. I'd say our war chest is - £Shitloads. So, with that said, The Dirty One as the only real ad...

Re: weekends other games - aug 30/31

Oh and I've got to say, the way Rodgers has them playing is exactly how I'd love The Arsenal to play; full-pitch press, fast counter attack, quick pass and move.

Rodgers actually seems like a very good man manager. I've a sneaky feeling he'll get the best out of Balotelli.

Re: weekends other games - aug 30/31

Sterling is ridiculous. If he can avoid believing his own hype (*ahem* Jack Wilshere *ahem*), Liverpool and England have one hell of a player on their hands.

Re: Leicester (A)

Cambiasso

Prime example of people getting excited over the name rather than anything else. I remember when they got Davids down at Barnet!

Sanchez hat-trick today, mother fuckers...

...in a 4-3 defeat
