pre match grub
What are the favourite places to eat pre match? I always go and get a chicken burger from Eden's on Seven sisters, there is a fish and chip shop next door which is always packed but I've no't tried, the burgers in the rocket are spot on, and cheap (£2 as to £3 everywhere else). I still havn't tried ...

Re: Walcott - contract talks/which position is best etc?
Prior to RVP moving I was not to bothered if we sold Walnut, when all the 100k a week talk was going on at the end of last season I could not justify paying him that much. Now on the other hand, after the sale of rvp and due to the fact that I think Walcotts improved over the last 12 months, I would...

Re: Wenger Out Banner
Got shown again today, the youngest lad holding it (17 years old and about 5'7") got smacked by some bloke in his forties who then ran off. He's now calling it on to all comers at Newcastle home    Not good to hear mate, hope the lad is alright Yeah same goes, I hope the fell...

Re: Are the board regreting not letting judas go on a bosman
I agree with quartz that most of what he said was true, but it was very tasteless. I don't blame him in all honesty more the club. I know this is touching on the board thread a bit, but how on earth is Dick Law meant to handle contract negotiations from Dallas? Surely you need someone a bit nearer, ...

Re: Are the board regreting not letting judas go on a bosman
DB-TH They are doing it deliberatly, offer him a shite deal (1 year no wage rise if the rumors are true), knowing full well he won't except so they than can cash in now. When away from the spread sheet we as fans know the true value of players like rvp, wally, sagna etc. It's not just the sale thoug...

Re: The stinking shit transfer rumour thread
Having watched most of the newcastle-city game and just seen the highlights again can I just say I hope people give up trying to link us to Tiote. Just frimpong minus the catchphrases Is it just me or does this Tiote fella look just like a young Mr. T in the a team? For the record I think hes shite.

Re: Are the board regreting not letting judas go on a bosman
[quote="DB10_TH14reading over it i aint making much sense   it would have been a disaster allowing 2 players running down their contract but with hindsight if walcott gets sold in january then i would have much preferred us to sell walcott in the summer and take our chances with van...

Re: Are the board regreting not letting judas go on a bosman
From an economic perspective, would it not have made sense to keep him until his contract ran out? I think so, the fact that we are half way through the season and (let alone a title challenge) 4th is by no means safe, so broadcasting money is at risk of being reduced, We're in the last 16 of the c...

Re: Are the board regreting not letting judas go on a bosman
Funniest thing ive read on this forum in a long time, our board letting rvp go on a free, and Northbank i mean no offence, but seriously   Am I going crazy? I really think they could have taken the gamble, In all honesty I don't know the exact difference in prize/tv money for being in the to...

Re: Reading Away Thread
I've gone for 3-1 Reading, I think the players are losing confidence in Wenker now and will show on the scoresheet. Strangely I'm the only one who has backed us to lose this on the sweepstake at work out of 25 of us, how anyone can back us to win at the moment is beyond me . :? Well to be fair Read...
