Re: Coquelin signed?
for anyone to say that title chances would rest on him is laughable. No joke. At £1000+ for season tickets, far from a joke. We do have a genuine chance of the title, because all of our competitors are fallable. I think Coquelin is our key player because of his unique value to our squad, which is a...

Re: Coquelin signed?
ROFL Coquelin has apparently "cost" Arsenal the league title. A guy that's never been good enough to get a single international cap (behind Lassana Diarra, Schneiderlin, Matuidi, Mavuba etc) is apparently the difference between winning a league title or not  Lack of internation...

Re: Justice For The Archway One Updates
Latest update from Mick November 2015 Arsenal's response to Mick's subject access request (under The Data Protection Act)regarding the supposed Appeals Panel Meeting which failed to uphold his appeal against the Emirates Stadium ban, yielded the following information 1) Amazingly no minutes of this...

Re: Paris attacks
The Koran is a collection of sayings and stories. There's virtually no chronology. It also includes the following facts; the sun sets in a muddy swamp to the west of africa, salt and fresh water cannot mix, sperm is produced somewhere half way up your back, that Alexander the Great was a devout mus...

Re: Messi and The Arsenal
At 600K per week I think only Man City and Chelsea can afford him. With Costa in intermittent form, Remy not favoured and Falcao on the fringes I could see him going to Chelsea if he really wants to play here. Cannot see Stan paying 600K per week. £30M per year? We would not make that back through s...

Re: ENGLAND vs FRANCE Friendly
I think the game should go ahead to show life goes on and that we won't let the terrorists win, but I doubt the French players will be in much of a mood to play.

Re: Paris attacks
There is no concept of "Eye for an eye" in my religion, the phrase in Hebrew does not say that, it refers to monetary compensation for violent injury. People claim the bible is "fairy tales" but it is a history book, so is the Koran. The miracles included can be debated and are h...

Re: Paris attacks
Nut Flush You have ignored my points in order to make your own anti Blair and Bush ones. As if the Muslims of the MIddle East were just sitting around playing chess before 2003. My main point is very straightforward. This is not about ISIL in isolation. This is about a long long history of Muslim at...

Re: Paris attacks
Nut Flush Whilst ISIL as an organisation was born fairly recently, it evolved out of mergers of other existing militant groups. To claim the Iraq war was the cause? I see that as a misnomer. Islam has been at war with the Christian West for around 1000 years. It has everything to do with Islam. To c...

Re: Paris attacks
There are refugees, there are economic migrants and there are terrorists who want to get into Europe. They are three different categories. Extra border controls are merely shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, most of these terrorists turn out to be home grown anyway. I think increase...

Re: "Doping in football is widespread" - Wenger
We may have previous for this sort of thing, the infamous (or not) Monkey Gland tablet incident of 1925: "Arsenal manager Leslie Knighton, warned by Chairman Henry Norris that the FA Cup of 1925 represented his final chance of glory, was approached by a Harley Street specialist armed with a box...
