JOEY BARTON YOU'RE STILL A CÚNT

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He is a complete *word censored*. That's why we need him in our team.

Right lets judge Gervinho for everything he is by his first game. If we go by that then our back line didn't allow a goal so....their all top and we really don't need any new backs. Or y'all just like to whine...one of the two

Barton has done his job perfectly and our low wattage players still havent learned anything from last year. The precious little flowers cannot work out problems until the post match speech then the next game they will fix it...
Tuesday will be an interesting evening..

Gervinho was our best player. Other than him only AA23 had any creativity.

leave gervinho alone, give the guy a chance, once he realises when to play the ball he'll be great. He went past full backs like a winger is supposed to.

As for barton we fell for his winding up again. Honestly as a player you've got to be smarter than that. He has successfully earned newcastle 2 pts in two seasons all by himself.

Ive always said joey is a coward, he certainly showed that today, all talk he is.

Gervinho has let down thousands of Gooners. We've got massive games coming up and he's ruled himself out of them by acting like a *word censored*. Hope he enjoys his salary we're paying.

There must be an appeal - Gervinho reduced to a yellow, however Song will get a 3 match ban.

I don't think there's a reason to appeal. It was a straight red card, even Wenger will agree on that.

There will be no appeal, he raised his hand, you can't do that, Barton may get done but then so will Song.

Be fair, as a player they would expect protection from the ref, its human nature to snap in that situation, most would.

They cannot give Barton a suspension anymore, because the ref already gave him a yellow. Stupid rule if you ask me. :banghead:

Can he still not be charged for bringing the game into disrepute?

His actions sparked a brawl, the ref didn't see it.

Steven Taylor is the biggest *word censored* in all this, his interview after was priceless.

Song brought the game into disrepute, not Barton.

Forget Song, I'm talking about the incident that sparked the brawl, if you don't know then simply say.

Why were our players smiling at the end? I won't smile until Tuesday at least and there may not be much to smile about then either. Could you have seen Keown shaking Barton's hand? Throat more likely...
