To be honest I'm fast losing any interest in Premiership football. Points are won and lost on the tiniest of decisions, usually hammed up by players to encourage maximum repercussions. If it's nil-nil by 80mins in any match they're falling over in the box like they've been sniped, calling the officials *word censored* and not being reprimanded.

What's the point? I've never felt this low, this early in a season before.

Gervinho was fouled. Should have been a penno. But he overplayed going down and after his outrageous dive in the first half he was never getting it.

Gervinho had to go - he raised his hands (no matter how bitch-like it was) and that's a red.

Barton should have been redded too. Grabbing a player (during open play) like that must come under violent conduct or serious foul play and indeed would be a penno too.

Refs should be made to explain their decisions either at the time or post match........they can hugely influence the outcome of a match with just o e shitty call.
They must be in the only job where even when they are shockingly wrong, their boss' at the Referees Association back them.

I know they do a very difficult job nowadays with the pace of the game and players diving and cheating all over the park, it's about time technology was implemented to help them.
Offside could easily be done in seconds via a buzzer in their ear without interrupting the game.
