Forum Rules

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Forum Rules

Post by Mike1 »

We want Gooner2Gooner to be a forum which can be enjoyed by all Arsenal fans. To help in this regard, please read the following guidelines before posting.

Be respectful at all times. We understand that debates may become passionate and heated, but at no time should this result in personal abuse or insults, cyber-bullying or harassment.

Do not post provocative, outrageous, or pointless messages only to get a response from others, i.e. "trolling".

Pornographic or distasteful imagery are not permitted in any section.

Swearing is acceptable as long as it is not used as a personal attack on any individual. Some of the stronger swear words will be asterisked out.

Religious bigotry and overt racism will not be tolerated. For the avoidance of doubt this includes all use of the "y word" and derivatives, which is widely recognised to be a derogatory term towards the Jewish race, even if that is not necessarily the intention.

We do not want to create a huge list of rules and regulations, so whilst the above hopefully provides an indication of what we consider unacceptable, this is not necessarily an exhaustive list and moderators are encouraged to use their discretion to remove or edit anything which, in their opinion, could potentially damage the reputation of The Gooner and/or Arsenal fans in general, result in the site being subject to legal action and/or being shut down by the hosts, or discourage other Arsenal fans from using the forum in the way it’s intended.

Anyone violating the above guidelines in the opinion of the moderators will, in most cases, be warned and repeat offences may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the forum. However, we reserve the right to ban flagrant offenders without warning.

If you feel you have been unfairly warned or banned, you should contact Mike1, who is the forum administrator, and not raise your grievance on the public forum.
