Kos has been excellent this season - improved leaps and bounds, But for me it has to be TV5 - He drives and organises the defence also he takes No Prisoners :box: :high5: :barscarf:

Kos. He's been a mainstay in our back line and put in some incredible performances throughout the season. He's made tremendous improvement in all aspects of his game.

My vote went to Vermalen. The reason is simple; I feel that given how shit our season was, his coming back (along with Sagna's) was the major factor in us turning our fortunes around. He first helped out at full-back admirably (although there were a couple of suspect performances in there, which is to be expected from a player playing out of position), then shored up the defence when he moved back inside, and has chipped in with some vital goals along the way - Fulham at home, Newcastle at home and Everton away spring to mind just off the top of my head.

Honourable mention to Koscielny who has continued to improve. I find it laughable that anyone can suggest Rosicky, though. Don't get me wrong, I'm one of Tommy's biggest fans - but for the majority of this season he's been shit. Really shit. Played out of position, but still shit.

What an odd poll.

TEN options yet no Arteta?? - so, in Armchair's opinion, Arteta hasn't even been one of our most ELEVEN influential players this season??? - and not even worthy of a mention??!!

ridiculous - I hope he just slipped your mind.

Personally, I'd have Arteta very high on the list with Szczesny, Koscielny and Vermaelen.

Only one vote mate and yes if you'd bothered to read through the thread without posting first you'd have seen why Arteta wasn't on there.

Think Kos has been pretty flawless.( Although he did play in the 8-2, but so did Shezza letting in those two free kicks)

TV5 cost us again today. :(

Yep. Can't believe those muppets who voted for Vermalen. I mean, his performances and affect on the team throughout the season aren't important - did you SEE him in that QPR game? Don't these people realise that your entire season's performance grade should be based solely on the last game and nothing else?

Not very well. What's your point? Footballers have bad games from time to time. Were you aware of that? Given that I possess a couple of brain cells, I wouldn't be stupid enough to base my opinion of a footballer's entire season on one bad performance.

Nice try at a wind up. Come back when you've got some more enlightened, passive-aggressive, smart-arsed remarks for me to chuckle at 8)
