As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

deffo second half, we created nothing - we responded well when it was 2-0 and when Vermalen got us back to 2-1 i thought we would go on to win, but no creation, no passion with certain players, and lack of ability cost us

It's traditional to talk up the underdog and, while it was no fun to listen to, it was pretty much accurate. They played above themselves, we were poor. What else can he say?

Really, he's only seeing it as it is, I can't understand the angst towards him, it's only what we were all thinking during the game anyway, well everyone except Red Member that is... :-P

Jesus Wigan came at us fighting for their lives. Its not the first time we have lost to lower teams. Sometimes you just have to accept that on this day they played amazing.
Now this only becomes a massive problem if we lose to Chelsea ! If we lose to both Chelsea and Wigan at home in the same week then can we expect Champ League football anyway
