I think 12 games is ridiculously harsh - media hate him

No, he's slated for (in no particular order):

1) Stubbing a cigar out in someone's eye
2) Attacking a team-mate from behind, knocking him out, and continuing to beat him for which he received a suspended sentence.
3) Attacking someone in a city cenntre so badly he knocked out several teeth (watch the you tube footage, it's savage)

I can't be arsed to go through the whole rap sheet but there are at last 20 'indiscretions' and none of them regard quoting Morrrisey.

I hadn't seen this footage before, but it is just another incident of which there are many......Go out in any city in the UK and you will see that sort of thing most fridays and saturdays when the pubs & clubs kick out, and it is done by 'Thugs' those who enjoy violence and usually have a crim record and have done or eventually will do time...barton is one of them - he also happens to be someone in a very privileged position, a millionaire who can hire the best silks etc - but he is still the lowest form of scum...it is the likes of such thugs that make others lives a misery... he'll pick on the wrong fella one night and let's hope he gets back all he's dealt out.
