Oh right.

Perhaps let's ban all threads on events that haven't actually taken place yet then yes?

So possible bans:

1. Any transfer threads
2. Any threads discussing which 'tactics' (stop giggling!) Wenger might employ
3. Any thread discussing starting 11s and pre-season line-ups (seeing as it's talking about something that might/might not happen)
4. Any predictions threads (may may not happen)
5. Any thread on RVP (he hasn't even left yet, so what are people discussing then?)

Steady on Mayweather....

I think you are confusing 'knocking one out' (something you must be adept at?) with 'knocking out' (something you couldn't replicate on a wasp).

There is a transfer rumours thread that you could have put this in. You chose to go off on one again, and use a non existant transfer to criticise Wenger again. I could quite easily start a similar thread saying 'M'Villa: LOOK WENGER'S CHANGES HIS TRANSFER POLICY!' But it would be pointless as its based on absolutley nothing but a rumour, which is discussed in a rumours thread.

If you want to have a fair discussion on Wenger's tactics then I'll happily join in, we'll probably agree. But this thread had you signing someone we haven't and saying it was how far we've fallen. Therefore it has no relevance to the subjects of threads you mentioned.

As i say, this thread is a joke, your comments are a joke - funny how you went missing when we turned our season round and finished higher than anyone thought we would eh? Where did your beloved Spurs finish?

Nobody, least of all me, accepts that we cannot improve, we can, massively - but your comments over the season have made you look silly, as this thread has.......maybe time for some humilty?

Your an idiot, you can abuse with all the childish insults you want - just makes you look even more of a fool than you already have.

Good luck.

Babs, I do have one question.

Why the complete and utter anger to anybody that has a different opinion towards Wenger?

I happen to agree with much of your rants. But if somebody offers me a different perspective I don't feel that I have to throw childish insults at them.

Face it - people have different points of view. Everybody doesn't have to agree with you.

Aaaaaw thanks honey.

Know what? You're right. I went totally missing when we "turned our season round"

Throughout the titanic performances at home to Norwich, in the CL, away to QPR, the outstanding draw at Bolton...yep went missing. How was the 3rd place trophy parade at Islington town hall btw? Any interesting handbrake stories involving the victory parade bus?

Listen girl. Real fabs buy hot dogs.I ain't a real fan line u I admit it!

By the way, Arsenal's second half of the season was actually statistically worse than their first half of the season. FACT.
It'd help your case if you had a rudimentary grasp of basic maths, or understood the points scoring system in football!

So show off all you like about Arsene "turning our season round" all you like.
It just makes you look even more imbecilic than possible, owing to the fact that as usual, Arsenal won sweet FA.

Now be true to your word and carry on with you'd boycott.
It's really howwible when people criticise the bestest manager and bestest team ever eh?

Off you go love

Sorry but who has been "abused" here?
Read back the posts and it's quite clear that JD (aka Mayweather) and his ilk are just as guilty of throwing abuse.
Read this thread again and see who gives it.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, this is not China.
My issue always tends to be with Arsene's little Helpers. You'll find that they instantly begin with their tiresome "piss off to Spuds" etc zzzzz

Boring.

You won't ever find me doling it out to anyone who doesn't start it.

Also mate, people make me laugh. The same jokers who ding songs at Adebayor about his mum, about the Togo team bus etc are the very same comedians moaning. Hilarious!

Babatunde wrote:Over six months ago I believe, I started a thread entitled 'Kalou' on the OLG. On the thread, I claimed that we would be signing Kalou based on reports in France. Now this is not to say 'I am right' etc etc...because we all get stuff wrong.
However.

It really does seem as if this Kalou business is coming to a head and I feel that this transfer, once confirmed, will be the one that pushes me over the edge as far as Wenger's Arsenal is concerned. I want to talk about something here, and it is the disgusting culture of acceptance and mediocrity that has been allowed to fester at Arsenal, one that has been readily excused and accepted by many compliant fans.

The origins of this can be traced to the Ashley Cole transfer. Chelski offered Arsenal £25 million in cash for Cole. At the time, Arsenal were still a very big team that players wanted to join and Philip Lahm had just fallen out with Bayern. £25 million was a lot of money, and considering we had Clichy, a serious manager could have spent that cash rebuilding the defence. Instead, Arsene Wenger went for his Frenchie and took on Gallas, and £5 million. This was an outrageous trade and I thought Wenger would be pelted for it by Arsenal fans. It never happened though - still, at least Gallas was a quality PL defender to be fair.

The transfer that really confirmed what a shit direction we were headed in though, was Mikael Silvestre.

Just to be clear here for the deluded ones who do not understand: Man United, Chelski, and Citeh will never, ever, EVER sell their best players to a domestic rival. There is only one club that regularly does this, and that is Wenger FC.

Manure wanted rid of a scab on their wage bill. He was French, cheap and Wenger obliged.
In many countries and at many clubs, Wenger would have been given a torrent of abuse for this. The reason Manure gave us Silvestre so cheap, is because he was rubbish. Of course, the usual chorus of apologists were making excuses 'he is a winner with experience', 'squad player' bla bla.

We have been signing squad players for so long, we've forgotten about the first team!!!

Buoyed by Silvestre, Wenger continued this policy when he went out and signed Yossi Benayoun. Again. I know Benayoun is ok, he is not a bad player...but you need to ask yourself if Chelski (champions of Europe  ) would EVER lend out a quality player to a rival? Are they mugs?

So anyhow, asides the comedy 'signings' of recalling a League 2 Sol Campbell, and a pension home Jens Lehmann....I come back to KALOU.

Seriously, according to French reports from very reputable sources, Kalou is going to be offered a contract of FOUR years  on over 80,000 Euros a week AFTER TAX (because he is a free transfer). The most sickening thing here, is that if you talk to any Chelski fan, they would have gladly driven Kalou to Siberia themselves if just to rid the club of him. And yet, here is a guy that our manager is about to lumber on our already bloated wage bill.

I get royally pissed off when I continually hear people around here claiming 'we cannot compete' - just look at that wage bill. Instead of paying a joke like Kalou 80,000 Euros a week Net (Jesus!), that cash could go to the weekly wages of a top player. That means an M'Vila, a Javi Martinez or a Cavani.

Arsenal deserve better than this shite, we deserve to see the best and it is an insult that we should expect to put up with our former 'rivals' cast offs. It's incredibly unambitious and unacceptable.

The most sickening thing here though, is that it is yet ANOTHER player who will bugger off to ACN for yonks, then the apologists will claim 'oooh he is burned out'. As if you don't know these things when signing an African? I mean FFS it is highly conceivable that next season, as predicted, Arsena will regularly field a midfield flanked by one Ivorian in Gervinho, and another brainless donkey in Kalou. Chuck in Alex Song and that is the African Chuckle Brothers do North London!
I realise this deal has not yet happened but it is on the verge and it's sickening.

Think about how much cash the club has at its disposal (read the accounts). Think of losing RVP. Think of the cost of those season tickets. Think of our mammoth cash reserves. Think how much we have made in player sales these past3/4 windows...and then just look at the bollocks Wenger is lumbering us with. That will be another total deadweight to further drain our bloated wage bill for years to come. No resale value at all, another Denilson who will sit back and collect his wages.

Sorry but if/when this happens, it's just an effin DISGRACE. Kalou is not 'a good squad player' we've been collecting 'squad players' for 7 bloody years, which would explain why we've got less pots than Portsmouth in that period.

Citeh pinch Nasri and Clichy from us, Chelski take Cole, Manure bid for RVP and we errrrm....'steal' Silvestre and Kalou.
Why has Wenger been allowed to get bigger than this club? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Still, he's better than Chamakh. Get £6m for marooned and sign kalou for free. More money in the kitty earning £180 interest per year, which will go towards paying off the stadium earlier...don't you know :D :barscarf: :barscarf:
