Re: THE WENGER THREAD
As I said in the match thread Wenger has fuck all currency remaining with the majority of the fan base. The relationship has completely broken down and is beyond repair.
Yesterday we were 2 nil up at home to the scum, 20 minutes left in the game and playing really well. This is as good it gets for a manager, the ultimate feel good scenario.
And what transpired? He subs off Lacazette to a chorus of jeers and the majority in attendance give him absolute fucking pelters for the decision.
If an Arsenal manager is getting shit from the fans while 2 nil up at home to that lot I think it's fairly safe to assume they don't want him at the club any longer.

But not actually prepared to get off their arse and actually do something about it besides a few minor boos when they feel slightly miffed. Wenger has bought himself 3 months of complete tranquility with that win.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2017 1:28 pmAs I said in the match thread Wenger has fuck all currency remaining with the majority of the fan base. I expect us to pretty much go back into coast mode now...Wenger's boys always get up for one big game when there is a danger dad is under threat. How many clubs do you see where the manager loses the dressing room, quite often where the players want to compete, and actually win trophies.
Not at Arsenal, most of our players know, should Wenger go, a lot of them will be following him out the door. They are not going to allow that, so when it's really necessary, maybe half a dozen times a season, they will get up and fight.
It would not surprise me at all if we drop points at Burnley.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka believes the club can compete with Manchester City for this season's Premier League title, following victory in the north London derby against Tottenham.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Sean Dyche - level with Wenger on points, winning points in big away games, and just seen the Sky stat.....3rd in the table for number of passes per goal. Genius.....just saying DB10. Don't get your Ozil knickers in a twist ya fucking toothless simpleton
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Well, for a start he should stop giving the ball away in crucial positions.and stop being our opps best player!.Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka believes the club can compete with Manchester City for this season's Premier League title, following victory in the north London derby against Tottenham.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wenger's Arsenal...they do it all the time after a win...remember Walpot after Olympiakos?? Mustafi giving it large as well yesterday, ranting at the press. How many other clubs players are allowed to do this??
Wenger should be saying to them..."Well done, great win, now get your head down and keep it going, do your talking on the pitch" But no...... you've earned to right to go out and berate everyone who had the temerity to criticise you, anyone who questioned your ability, your mental strength. Go out, have a pop at them, make ludicrous predictions that will blow up in your face, but at all times, protect the brand, protect AFC, and most of all, protect your manager.....
Wenger's Arsenal.
And btw Mustafi & Xhaka, you were probably too busy venting and celebrating after Saturday to notice that everybody else above us, or level with us, matched or bettered our achievement......And we are still in 6th!! And 12 points behind the team we are going to "compete with"

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Racist.
Or, given the current climate for publicly shaming gropers, should that be "rapist"? I'm not sure.
To paraphrase our very own "genius" Arsene Wenger, judge Dyche in May when Burnley finish 9th or 10th. Then judge him again the following May when he "leads" them into the Championship from which they will never return.
File under "SteveO's weird fascination with utter shit like Diaby that deliver nothing".

What. The. Fuck.
Why aren't Ramsey or Walcott making these ludicrous statements anymore? Are they unwell?

I remember what happens now from previous seasons - defeat at Burnley coming up
6th place and we are competing for the title

Aaaah! Yes but wenger will say the NLD took a lot out of the players (which is why they can only play like that 4 or 5 times a season).

Does anyone think Wenger ever takes this approach to his half-time team talks:

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
If Wenger spoke to them like that they wouldn't go out for the second half. I heard Wenger sulks when the team "let him down" and blanks them for a few days.
