THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So with Mr 30 years in Australia, and pre season and Charity shield nearly on us, Lemar looking doubtful, looks like the result is we have Sanchez out and Lacazette in....incompetent wanker....

Predicted at start of last season would not make top 4, saying the same again this year

Wenger will never change, he is incapable of it, he will continually repeat his mistakes, ( saying its not about winning trophies, he runs it like a charity for young boys)

Watch out for more blaming fans, hostile environment and of course its all down to the 4th official ....same old shit again Arsene

Don't wish ill on anyone, (even Wenger) but he will only leave the club when he parts this world

Well we had better get ready for a long, long, long wait. he follows a vegetarian (mostly macrobiotic) diet, he has the best health advisers, GP's, Consultants etc....he is 67years of age and so we are looking at another 17 - 20 years at least. :|

DB10 has long made the crack about it being 2025..he will be 75 by then.In all honesty he could hang around the dugout for another 10yrs after that quite easily :( then he will provably move upstairs until he passes on at 112 or something.

How dare you!. He has earned the right to destroy this club which he built with his own hands.

683 days until the next renewal :barscarf:

Look (uhh...), the bloke will still be here in his 90s. So instead of this being the tail end of his era, it's more like the middle of it. So really, it's more like 8,354 days until his retirement in June 2040. This is like the film Downfall, with the loss of all hope, only it lasts another 23 years. He will never leave and the club clearly won't let him go. It's only a question of when he goes full Late-era Cloughie and takes us down.

Wenger today talking on Arsenal site about his delay of contract signing last season.....

He told Arsenal's website: "For me [this season] will be a change because it was a bit eternal [last year], a repetition of the press conferences about that [contract].

"Maybe I made a mistake and allowed that to happen because I didn’t commit early enough.

yes fucking Einstein put it together with all your other mistakes you make on a regular basis, you deluded ego ridden maniac.....

First time I've agreed with him in forever. It does feel fucking eternal....every single second of every single day.

The killer for me is I was convinced he was gone two extensions ago! I've abondoned all hope and am just prepared to buckle up endure the shit show of doom that is about to be unleashed around my fucking ears.

Tally ho :barscarf:
