And so Palace hop right back on the Shit Managers Merry-Go-Round. Cue jobs over the next 2 - 3 years for;
Pulis
Hughes
Curbishly
Allardyce
Dyche
Lying Phil Brown
Warnock
"funny lad" Holloway
Tubby Bruce
Redkrapp
Pearson
Absolutely scandalous that Palace pursued de Boer, hounded him almost, into taking the job. I watched that game yesterday, missed 2 absolute sitters, had 2 cleared off the line and had 22 attempts to Burnley's 4. If that wasn't enough the Palace LB laid Burnley's goal on a plate for them with a devilish through ball.
How does a manager legislate for that???
Actually I know a manager who can answer that, in fact he can answer questions relating to ANY club.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
If anyone has a copy of tonight's (Monday's) Evening Standard, on the letters page (45) is this one from Victor Garston:
Don't Patronise the Fans, Wenger
"As an Arsenal fan of nearly 80 years, I find Arsene Wenger's attack on the media patronising to the fans. We know whether a team or a player is playing well or not. His attack on the club's legends was also mistaken. These men would give their lives for the club, not shirk a tackle or turn their backs on a free-kick.
Wenger and assistant manager Steve Bould sit on the bench motionless, giving no motivation to the team. Wenger and the board want the fans to think Arsenal are making progress but the gap between us and our rivals is growing bigger. It is time Wenger stopped thinking he is the only man for the job".
I can just hear the responses when the comms. department flag this up:
Wenger: "Listen, he may have supported the club for 80 years but has he ever worked a day in football?"
Kronke "How much does this old dude spend on merchandise and hot dogs?"

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
What he meant was the rising share value keeps him at Arsenal as he gets a bonus the higher it gets.xisstential wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2017 7:29 amhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... newcomment
So Man.U wanted him did they??? FIFTEEN YEARS ago, they wouldn't touch him with a barge pole now...no club with ambition would.
He stayed at Arsenal because....wait for it....he believes in the "values of the club" I wish somebody, JUST ONCE, would ask him to expound on that, what are THOSE "values"???
I remember him saying that AFC share the same values as him...do you want to support a club that has Wenger's values...I don't.

Arsenal plan to replace Wenger with Joachim Low
I think i'd be quite happy with this if it came off.
