No better candidates than Wenger says Gazidis.

Oh well, alrighty then. We are all idiots and whatever this lying fraudulent, money grabbing cartel has to say must be true. Beginning to hate everything about this club.

I absolutely despise the way they treat us like such complete idiots.
:coffeespit:

What a devious, lying pair of bastards.

2 months ago Gazidis stated that Wenger's new contract would be a "Catalyst for change". Now he's stating that they kept Wenger on so that he can carry on as normal.

They treat us with utter contempt and see themselves as benevolent geniuses

Managed to find this excellent piece by DesiGunner 5years ago on our defensive issues and Wenger's philosophical weaknesses. He could've written the blog today and it wouldn't have been out of place. Another die hard Gooner who's fallen out of love with the club and walked away because of the fraud.

I think Leicester scored from their only 3 efforts on target, which says a lot about the defence and keeper - some things will never, ever change.

By Christ that was a depressing read. The players singled out include some absolute crap:-

Song
Benayoun
Squillaci
Rosicky
Gibbs
Arteta
Miquel
Park

How much time and money has Wenger wasted on utterly shite players ???? :banghead:

Another bloke, like Podolski that was jerked around all over the place. Wenger can never buy a player to fill a position. He always buys somebody then tries to fit them into the position....to try and create something so he can take credit for it.

I wonder if any of those perma injured players ever wondered why they were always injured at AFC. Look at Wilshire, fair enough he got injured right at the end of last season, but before that he was fit for most of Bournemouth's season. When he was with us he could barely get through training without another leetle neegle that would lay him up for months on end. Mertersacker...out for most of last season, Wellbeck....... and Carzorla.... how long has that been going on??? Where is he??

Out of all the deadwood we currently have why on earth would AW be considering parting with the one player who still has great potential?

Oh wait..because he's Wenger. silly me.

The feeling of enmity was exacerbated by bitter north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur flourishing, and Wenger stated he felt that "sometimes they expressed themselves in a ridiculous way, like when a plane flew over the Emirates with a message that was hostile to me."

What a vile despicable person this fella is.....i truly hate him

I'm still surprised people on here think Wenger will go even if we get relegated. He ain't going anywhere. I think that was proven in May. No amount of protesting will have him walk. Like Chelsea it's currently pointless.

He has job security for life and would most likely sign a new contract after this one :x . The only way we are going to get rid of this lying fraud is if he picks up a health issue or SK is bought out by an ambitious owner. What a sad state of affairs and to make matters worse we are being gentrified from the top down.

I wouldn't call Rosicky shite tbh. He was a superb technical player with a beautiful range of passes and a sweet finish. Similarly Arteta was our best most (only?) consistent player for the first 2 seasons we had him. The problem with those two was Rosicky was injury prone and should have been released long before he was and we got Arteta waaaaay too late in his career and after those first 2 seasons his legs went and he too should have been released long before he finally was. Typical Wenger though, piss money away on non-performers, shit players, and perma-crocks whilst whining about not being able to compete with the pimped clubs...

That's a class article and some amazing spiel from the chameleon Gazidis, who clearly has NO shame and skin thicker than a rhino !
The entire article is an effort of his part to suggest he has some vestiges of authority when clearly he has none .
He uses the Royal we to suggest he was part of the decision making process that extended Wengers contract and that he was onboard with it .
It gives the reader the impression and indeed the Mail writes that Gazidis gave him his new contract after consultation ,brilliant work indeed .
The harsh reality was he made a bid to kurb the power and influence of the Wenger and impose controls upon him and failed utterly when his Boss ignored his Whisperings and handed Wenger a new and IMPROVED 2 year deal without any such hindrances on his authority.
In fact this summer has seen Wenger more in control than ever which leaves Gazidis out in the cold .
Despite Gazidis desperate attempts at salvaging some respectability with his Bizarre end season video, and the trip to Monaco post season with Wenger we all know his number is up .
He is a Director without portfolio , a useless and pathetic figurehead with Kroenke for a boss and Wenger as his chief tormentor !
