I pray for the day when his unholy, cancerous grip is released from our club and we can fly again.

and now he's defending RVP saying he was the best striker at the Euros and said the chances he missed are down to fatigue!!! No 5hit sherlock!! That would be because you left us with only 1 striker all season. You really are an unlikeable chap Wenger ;) I'm trying not to be abusive!! :D

Considering how tight that Wenger has been over the past few years with spending money, I'd say that means that RVP is staying then

Not being funny mate, but we Had Gervinho, Park, Ashavin, Walcott and Chamakh. If we had dropped RvP for any of these people would moan about that. Just because the other's didn't step up to the plate.

As I said, usually I'd agree with getting Wenger out, but this season seem's different. Actually buying proven talent and still being linked with others does show promise. If they all fall flat on there face and we have a repeat of this season then yeah, get rid.

EDIT TO ADD: How can anyone call him a C**t? Where you calling him a C**t in 03/04? I'm not saying he should live off of past success, far from it, but calling him a c**t seems a bit OTT to me

Predictably, this thread has turned into pure poison, and I would suggest the Mods should consider locking this down.

How can we have a thread on Wenger with all the ridiculing of posts that goes on ?
It's very sad I have to be honest and it actually puts people off posting in it.

For what it's worth I think Wenger has done a great job in his time with The Arsenal. Overall his performance for me has been 8.5/9 out of ten. He has given us memories that will live with us for a long time and for that I thank him. I personally think people will look back at his time in ten years and judge it far better than some are doing now. Yes he is human and makes mistakes, like all managers do, but he has guided us through a tough time with the new stadium and with the resources he has been given/used he has performed better than most would have done, considering other clubs were spending far more.

Last summer was a disaster for the club and I would hold Wenger largely responsible for that. However the signs this year are far better with his recent signings and I hope that signifies a new dawn for the club. Will it ? I honestly don't know, but I am hopeful that he will want to bow out on a high and I really hope he does. For me he is here for two more years and I can't see him staying beyond that.

There are a huge amount of clubs out there that would be glad to have him as their manager and I hope whoever we get to replace him shows the same commitment to the club that he has shown.

It's a thread for all Wenger points of view. Some of those will be extreme. But this was created to make sure that those extremes didn't encroach too much on to other threads.

A little too delicate people.

Maybe and maybe the ridiculing of posts puts people off posting. I hope not.

Mate youve got to have a thick skin on here at times and also the courage of your convictions. If you love Wenger or hate him you have the right to say so on this thread, you may be ridiculed although abuse wont be allowed but if you believe for instance that he is good have enough to back up your argument. For example i dont dislike Theo as much as most on here and i get a bashing for it at times but i'll still stick up for what i think. If you look at the Flamini thread me and augie who normally agree on most things totally disagree with the way Cashley Hole was played in the Champions League final of 2006 and both of us have valid reasons.

Back up your arguments and ridicule/banter/wind ups wont bother you

How many posts out of 6 pages have been ridiculed?

I also hope that such a miniscule "problem" doesn't prevent people from posting on a thread which inevitably will be living on the edge, given that this is one of the testiest and heated of current Arsenal subjects.
