Let's All Laugh At Man Utd! (Merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Maureen lucked out this season with the run to both trophies, beat Hull in the semi and Southampton in the final of the league cup and had Anderlecht, Celta Vigo and Ajax U-23s at the business end of the EL.

If they'd come up against any half decent opposition in either competition they were out (lost to the chavs in the FA Cup) and yes you can come up against decent sides at the final stages of the EL, the victims last year scraped past Dortmund in the semi before getting beaten by Sevilla in the final.

He lucked out, just as Wanka lucked out in our two recent cup wins - Wigan semi, Hull final and Reading semi, Villa final. United will be miles out of their depth in the CL next season and Maureen parking the bus against the big boys won't get him very far. Looking forward to watching them get smashed.

All true Rodders, but imo it's a good thing. We're now the only failures in the top six and anything to ramp up the pressure on Il Duce is fine by me. Can you imagine how twisted with rage the Fraud will be, having seen Jose get an undeserved entry into the CL. His luck has finally fucking evaporated and a shagging from the chavs on Saturday will leave the fucker with nowhere to hide.

I have no doubt that he'll sign a new contract, but his days of sailing on scott-free are over. He's gonna get an awfully rough ride in the next couple of years.

I suppose it's a matter of time before he's telling us that winning the EL should not be automatic entry to the PL and next season he'll be telling us that the failures in the CL group stage should not be gain entry to the EL.

Tbh OBG, given the chaotic and desperate state of our Club, I imagine that very few of us have got the neck to be taking the piss out of any other team. :(

Horsewank.

Let's call a spade a spade here. Of the 4 trophies they were in for, after appointing Jose Big Bollocks, and spending BILLIONS on transfer fees and wages for Pogba, Mickytakingatarion, Bailly and He'sasonofabitch they ultimately won what? The two shit trophies. That for manure after the Ferguson years is an abject failure of a season. Fuck em. :box: :censored:

Of course we'll get a couple knob heads on here pissing their pants with "oohh it's more than we won... oohh I LOVE Jose soooo much... oohhh..." Fuck them too. It's still a shit failure of a season for the manc filth.

Mourinho got lucky with EL run but not so sure about the league cup. The reality is that unlike nearly every other big club he takes it seriously and always has done.

True. If our clown did, we'd have at least 4 or 5 more of them in the cupboard... :|

Just saw that video of those jumped up pricks filling themselves in the United dressing room singing "fuck off City" and grinning.

After the club and players had bleated on about how they were doing it for Manchester beforehand and ex-players were coming out telling everyone that they should be supporting United because of what happened.

They won a trophy and deserve to celebrate but that is completely classless in the circumstances.

Totally inappropriate in the circumstances and build up to the game. Typical of the selfie-obsessed mercenary modern player.

Bollocks! Here writes a guy who never spent his hard earned dosh and time going around Europe with the Arsenal. I NEVER met anyone with this point of view.

Fck Utd, Fck Liverpoool, Fck Chelsea, Fck Spurs. Always.

:barscarf: :barscarf:
If you only knew what I used to do to watch the Arsenal home and away :barscarf: :barscarf:
Strangely, since I've stopped going to matches I've become less partisan and enjoy football more. I didn't celebrate United's win just something else to goad Liverpool supporters with. Where I work I'm a minority of one Arsenal supporter amongst a load of armchair Liverpool supporters who bang on about 5 European cups, gets on my frigging nerves. Me and a United supporter have formed an unlikely alliance against them.
Also, not too keen on Ajax. The West Ham of European football but with the arrogance of Liverpool.
To add, tactically Mourinho gave a masterclass on how to win a European final. Hope wenger watched it and learned something for Saturday's game.

Out of interest are UEFA planning on taking action about the mass tearing out of seats and launching them towards the pitch from Ajax fans given that this was a European final at a neutral venue?

Or - like police brutality and stabbing opposition fans in the town square - is that accepted as long as its an english club on the other side?

who remembers this thread?

so 4 years after they lost Ferguson they already look like they are challenging for the league again.
what have Arsenal done in those 4 years? gone backwards.

and Wenger is still here....
