The Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Demonstrations & protests are urgently needed by supporters against a new Wenger contract, I would suggest after the Bayern Munich CL games are over is the best time to protest. That gives plenty of time to organise demonstrations. :barscarf:

At the moment, unless fixtures are changed WBA Home 18th March 12.30 K.O. is the best potential date. :barscarf:

West Brom is away.

Sorry lads, that's what watching Arsenal does to you nowadays! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

So just in case we are still in with a chance for the 2nd leg CL home time against Bayern Munich. :rubchin:

Any potential protest has to wait until Man City Saturday APRIL 1st @15.00 :barscarf:

Do you think there was a certain amount of fixing going on, they used to get too many penalties for my liking back then, and some were ridiculous, then when baconface had that rant about the ref not being fit, they seemed to stop gifting them stuff as a kind of punishment, then it was back on after a few games. Might be my paranoia, but I don't think everything was 100℅ as it should have been in the baconface era

Think fixing is too strong a word, but there certainly was mass intimidation of officials and authorities.. Refs were afraid of Whiskey Nose, afraid of Old Trafford and terrified of certain Utd players.
However the end of the Invincibles was the most corrupt game of football in English football.. history. Riley was blatantly corrupt that day, so much so that it went beyond the normal intimidation of officials at Old Toilet.. Riley didn't need to be intimidated, he was a willing participant..

Rednosde C.unt was an expert at intimidating the officials - The FA became afraid of him....It wasn't called 'Fergie Time' for nothing.
