The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Also turned a £4m profit on Schurrle despite him flopping in his year there, raked in £37m for Mata who Mourinho clearly didn't like, and nearly trebled their money on de Bruyne after a handful of inconsequential appearances in a few years there.

Even going back further they raked in over £20m for Shaun Wright-Phillips & Wayne Bridge.

That's a club who knows how to negotiate a (selling) fee!
Starts to balance out when you look at Torres, Shevchenko and the other poor decisions they made though. They gave Matic + 25M to sign David Luis from Benfica don't forget - then paid £20M to get Matic back!

True but there are poor decisions and there is paying well over market value (being here what other clubs would be prepared to pay).

It is just yet another ploy by wenger so he doesn't have to buy anyone of True Quality in the winter transfer window......Everyone is more expensive - so we will wait till the summer - and we all know what happens in the summer window ..sweet FA ! :banghead:

Looks like he is saying Welbeck nearly ready, but not seen in any current players training photos

Surely he is not deceiving us again is he?

Anyone recognise the name ?

Yes that is the same 16 year old kid that put our midfield into his pocket when they pissed all over us at the grove, and now the kid isn't good enough for Charlton

Neither was La Coq mate.

I wouldn't read too much into it, Charlton are a fucking basket case right now.

Do you remember all the Curbishley out stuff years ago? Be careful what you wish for...

3 days away from the transfer window closing and the media is awash with stories about how all our serial sick notes are miraculously close to a return. There's more people being cured at London Colney this week than there is in Lourdes for fuck sake. Things are going so well there that I reckon if baked bean head was still at the club he'd have been declared the krypton factor champion of champions by now. Next Tuesday morning should be interesting when we hear of the little setbacks that took place when Big Ben chimed the window shut. Fucking parasites.

Arsenal are 7 points ahead of 5th & Wenger has already spent around £6M. What more do people expect??!!

In the next 3 months, Rosicky, Wilshere, Coquelin, Wellbeck & Cazorla will be making their 2nd (3rd, 4th or 15th) debuts. All is well, move along.

Even Bournemouth have spent more

You're all panicking far too much. While Dick Law is trying to tempt Leicester with a final offer for Chilwell that now includes a £30 Next giftcard and an extra £20 in luncheon vouchers, our other deal makers are covertly operating Mission Hull where it seems like we are set to pip Barcelona, Bayern and Real Madrid to sign.......wait for it now.......Abel Hernandez !!

Le cock has already dismissed that rumour and added that unless players leave there will be no-one coming in.
In the same press conference he stated that debouchy will be gone in the next 48 hours, so we all know what that means..........

Debuchy's Arsenal career was derailed by injuries we know that but the 28 million quid we spunked away in July 2014 between himself and Chambers is looking pretty dodgy business by L'Asshole now.

I will be really pissed off if I see some Sky asshole hanging around the Emirates on Monday, just to let everyone know we are signing no one. Thanks, but I am sure I can work that one out for myself.
