The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Remember, we can compete with any team in the transfer market for our targets. A few others were in for him. The Coach and Horses, The King's Head and The Cricketers were close to getting him but he chose us.

For me this is about as embarrassing as it gets - was it not possible to complete this signing without it being on ssn ? everton and citeeh linked with van dijk, everton and baggies linked with schneiderlin, and here we are signing some unknown from some mickey mouse amateur club    Cant wait for the "I'm sorry that he didn't cost £50m" response

If it's not too late, can I withdraw my previous comments slating this transfer ? I have just watched a few clips of the guy in action on ssn, and to be fair he looked very impressive in the game against Belper Town    :barscarf: :barscarf:

Fuck sake! :coffeespit:

I'm beginning to think, once again, that I have a chance of playing for The Arsenal 8) I'll get a pair of Pumas and have a kickabout on Highbury Fields, TOF will surely sign me if I can also get hold of a dodgy foreign passport. Someone call Steve Rowley :barscarf:

Failing that, I can do a job as manager 8)

It's must have gone tragically downhill since those pre-war days.

He might kill BIG.

I had my heart set on Ricardo Rodriguez replacing Monreal / Gibbs at left back, so I guess that isn't happening now we have blown our kitty.
