Oxlade-Chamberlain

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

yes they might get an opportunity earlier than at other clubs but you just know that they will end up injured sooner rather than later.

he is just another victim of Arsenal's coaching methods
Not only will they end up getting injured they will also undoubtedly be played out of position as TO1AW accommodates one of his favourite sons instead.....cue a loss of form and confidence like the Ox.

A year or so ago he was in great form but was consistently overlooked and dropped back to the bench in favour of Wally or Mister Twirly

who is Mister Twirly :?: :D
:D

Ramsey - given this nickname for his amazing ability to perform his ballerina style twirls and pirouettes to disrupt every attack we have and allow the oppo to get 11 players back behind the ball. When he plays out wide its even more fucking infuriating :banghead:

He is only 23 for fuk sake, playing for one of the best teams in the one of two top leagues in the world, and he is annoyed because he doesnt play every week.

Rather than bitch and moan
, look to Iwobi and Bellerin as evidence of what consistent classy performances can do.

What does he want to do? Move to West Ham where he can be a star player?

Wenger isnt biased against younger players like other managers are (see Iwob and Bellerin), so any player not in the team, its for a reason - your not playing well enough.
He not actually bitching and moaning though is he?

Not quite true.

How many times has wenker selected Feo and the Lampost when they have been uter shyte...many, many times. Same goes for Gibbs and what about Sanaogo - Wenker must be THE Only manager in the prem who would put a physically deyslexic clueless oaf like him on the pitchy - He was loaned out and hardly got any playing time.

That's not bitching and moaning - He was asked a question and replied honestly and accurately - Put wenger in a similar position of being asked a straightforward question and he would avoid it by giving a load of his usual inane delusional responses :blah: :blah: :blah:

I rate Ox as a player he is far more skillful that Feo and should be i front of feo in any team selection - He went through a bad dip in form last season, but that was purely because wenger didn't play him.

yes he did well, but Perez looked sharper in his cameo than Ox did.
With Iwobi and Perez as well as Wally for competition he has to produce or simply wont get matches.

Still think he's better in midfield, the Cazorla role, than on the wing.

Think the competition for places will be too much for him, so many ahead of him, and for once I am not complaining, being an ex players son is not easy, but he has been given many an opportunity, agree about the persistence with Walcott, but he has finally found his role and is now a main player, OC needs to find his role and fast....

Got a feeling we're still going to be having the same conversation in 5 years time like his fellow ex-soton mate.

was starting to feel positive for him at one point this season, well taken goals v forest, reading and ludogorets, but that cameo against the scum was so poor that it really does look bleak for him. he just can't do it when it really matters (although tbf he scored a decent equalizer v the scum a couple of years ago iirc)

sad really, saw his interview on goals on sunday after the swansea game and he looks and sounds visibly upset at how things have turned out so far, there's no-one at the club i wish to succeed more than him, even wilshere. but it just looks like it's not meant to be, whether it's wenger or injuries i don't know.
:(
