Legends Game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Legends Game

Post by Rugby Gooner »

Anyone else going to this?
It will be a chance to watch some players who really cared, and put a shift in for our club. :barscarf:
Also, it may embarrass some of the current squad, and the carrier bag/I-pad wielding tourists,by showing them some of the quality that we watched at Highbury, compared to the self-obessed dross that is served up at the bowl.
It will also be an opportunity to watch 90 minutes of Football for a realistic price.

Yes I'm going to this, it'll be good to see a team of winners again and to be able to reminisce about the great times in the past and remember how we once were before :barscarf:

Baresi probably still better than most of the CB's in the Premier League.
Is Grimandi gonna play? He can reanact his Edgar Davids takedown at DB10's testimonial. It remains one of my favourite moment at the bowl.

I'll be there, taking the kids so they can see some quality players!
Oh and it's a cheaper day out compared to the league fixtures.

I'd rather drink a litre of my own piss than give the club a penny of my money for this rip off

I never rated Grimandi as a player - but that moment when the Grimster chopped down Davids and stopped an ex-scummer scoring the first goal at the Conglomerate Lego Bowl gave him LEGEND status for me. 8) 8) 8)

All proceeds going to charity. And personally, I'd rather pay £20 to see Henry and Bergkamp than pay £60 to see Giroud and Walcott.

They have had a little setback in training - we expect them back for the 20 years of tedium celebrations :barscarf:
