Welcome Lucas Perez - who now wants out!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He was a stop gap until Welbeck recovered. I'd have left in January if I was him because the only forward below Perez in the pecking order at the club is Sanogoals.

Sad to hear this.

He may not be the quickest but then again, neither is the likes of Mata, Lallana etc and they have big impact as creative players in this league. Might be in the minority here but what we have seen of him suggests he could be a valuable part of the team.

Will be a shame if he goes.

Could be frustration over lack of playing time and the general malaise at the club (caused by you know who) or it could be a cultural thing, hates the country, lifestyle weather misses Spain etc. Not the first Spanish player to do that, Reyes comes to mind.

I kinda agree.

We've spent far too much money on him for him to simply gather splinters on his arse and I've seen enough to know he should be in the side over Walnut or any of our other nominal 'wide men'.

No world beater but he's got some ability.
