I don't think it matters what we pay them.

I don't think it matters whether they stay or not.

I don't think it matters who we sign.

The club is broken.

We have been outplayed by City and out fought by Everton, granted, in two tough away games.

We will beat most teams most of the time.

The trouble is, that won't win any of the big prizes. Its top 4 in PL, last 16 in CL and the odd FA Cup.

AW and the board have settled for comfortable mediocraty.

Until the core philosophy changes we will continue to tread water.

Not wishing to disrespect them cos they clearly are highly talented players, but I just don't feel that either are irreplaceable in the way that I used to with the likes of Bergkamp or PV4 or TA6. They are both parts of a highly flawed team and sometimes the only way to fix the problems, is to tear everything down and start a total rebuild - lets face it, whenever the old french **** goes, the incoming manager will want to restructure the team anyway
