Xhaka

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Looks like a pub player. Absolute liability, can't tackle, can't pass, can't shoot, can't run, can't create. The Swiss Tom Cleverley. At least Cleverley is relatively anonymous. You can't fail to notice Xhaka, lumbering around collecting card after card.

How poor is this bloke?

Even ignoring yet another attempt to leave us in the lurch for a large chunk of the game by tackling like a bloke that has had twelve pints, he is just completely anonymous against any half decent side and the game simply passes him by.

Yet another vanity project from Wenger.

Sorry, just had a really bad dream. A supporter told me we paid £30m for him....I'd rather have Sanogo in centre mid.

We paid a total of £38 million for this clown ,and we tracked him for a year too !
Wanders around like a lost boy in a playground on his first day at school !
He appears to have no pace and can't play !
WTF ?

I agree with flash - sometimes we write a player off as a shit without acknowledging that said player was good before we bought him :?

I can't believe how slow the bloke is, looks like he's running in treacle, it is his first season in the pl and he is certainly at the worst Arsenal side in many a year so will see if he improves next season before a final judgement.

He doesnt seem to know where to be , since carzola got injured our midfield simply doesnt seem to know where to set up or what to do .
We seem to have completely abandoned any holding midfield an le coq has been allowed to wander around at will.
All of which leaves us exposed time and time again Its shocking that a player in his twilight years is so vital and so injury prone ,we should have bought a replacement for him instead we've got xhaka whose best position is on the bench !

He doesn't sense danger, no awareness very loose first touch for this level and cannot run.
