If Wenger would actually announce that he is going then I would actually get interested in the top 4 scramble
Re: FURBURGER HULL FURBURGERS GAME
It was surely easier to shoot than to try and pick out Perez.

Top 4 is back on, we're into flat track season
Re: FURBURGER HULL FURBURGERS GAME
Wenger's luck kicks in again when he needs it.
2 handballs .. both go in his favour. Plus 1 red in his favour and another red that wasnt given (for Gibbs) in his favour.
Great character from the players

Standard get out-of-jail win for The Old Fraud.
The first half hour was typically depressing shit. With our embarrassing lack of cutting edge in front of goal, wasting chances with all this tedious 'after you, no after you' shot-shy shit and being crowded out by their defence. Hull looked much more dangerous than us early on, exposing our typically shaky defence and having our goal at their mercy.
The dead crowd at Cashburton reflecting our dead season/decade. Interesting to note that the commentators said Bould missed the first half hour. Thank fuck Sanchez scored with his own Hand of God (FUCKING PAY HIM!). It was looking like we'd never score.
I thought it was madness to let Coquelin continue after getting hurt. Seeing TOF fiddle with his earpiece was an embarrassment. Being so paralysed to make a decision before the sanctified 70th minute. God forbid that Steve Bould is allowed to make a decision.
Hull started to look dangerous again and started to bully us a bit. Even Walcott got pissed off, though it was a little amusing to see him getting so aggressive in the face of two players who could snap him in half. Good challenge from Gibbs, who took one for the team and took a booking, when the rest of the defence mugged themselves off and let them through almost one-on-one. They were spoiling for an equalizer. It was torturous.
Standard subs at typically late times. But fucking ridiculous that they waited until 82 minutes to get Welbeck and Perez on. Nice to have a Sanchez penalty finally kill the game in the 92nd minute - In spite of Hull's delaying tactics. As seems to be the usual for us, the game was much, much more even that it should have been. Another dismal victory - As ridiculous as that sounds.
So goes TOF's final game of the ban. Utterly pointless punishment. He'll be back to squirming on the bench and doing fuck all, other than flapping his arms and whining to the fourth official. FUCK OFF, YOU HAS-BEEN OLD CÚNT!

I'd like to know whether Gary Neville thinks the person who made that 20 years banner is an idiot.

I was thinking that about the kid with the 'Wenger stays' banner. Surely his dad allowing that was a pre-emptive action ? !Perryashburtongroves wrote:I'd like to know whether Gary Neville thinks the person who made that 20 years banner is an idiot.

Very erudite post Sean and the bit in red sums up our last decade for me, we have to step up so much further on a regular basis against poor teams than most of our rivals have to that we are then rarely able to step up the much greater step to actually beat the top teams when it really matters.Sean wrote:Standard get out-of-jail win for The Old Fraud.

Yes all the top teams have bad results or poor matches against lesser opposition but for us it happens far far too often that we have to put in massive effort to beat teams we shouldn't have any problem with, attitude, ability, tactics, desire all too often are found missing when it matters under this manager
