Couldn't make this up so you know it's true ...Arsenal fan said tonight " at least the team can take confidence from knowing they should have at least drawn with Liverpool ".
Same fan recently said it was Sanchez' selfish attitude that was hurting Arsenal most...

Still can't believe he didn't start Sanchez.

We have had so many limp-dicked defeats in these sorts of matches in the last decade that even wiTh the backdrop he would have just cruised through this one. But dropping out best player by a country mile and starting the likes of Iwobi instead? Only the most swivel-eyed of loons could contemplate defending that.

The bloke has lost his fucking mind.

Ive now watched a re run why I don't know the midfield was totally disorganized ,the defense a shambles.
I'm sure that sanchez was benched and ozil not playing because he will field a strong side for Bayern and doesn't want to be ridiculed for doing so .
They looked at time like a scratch side who had never met before !

Strange thing is Wenger can actually damage Iwobi, he is taking a lot of stick, should really be rested a while to regain his form/confidence.
on so many levels Wenger just does not know what he is doing...its frightening.

But of course in his mind he is always right....hearing him making excuses for the Liverpool game was pitiful

Having seen the stats on Coquelin's non-impact on the game, why isn't he getting slaughtered for it?
Ozil, Ramsey do even when they don't play.

Read back through this thread and you will see that I slated him on numerous occasions - I have consistently said that his is not premier league quality much less champions league quality, but he benefitted (the same as Gabriel did last season) from taking the place of a player that the fans had been slating, despite the fact that he really is a shite player

If you put le coq in front of the back 4 and tell him to only defend he would by fine but hes supposed to playing box to box which he cant do.
Hes also off form and the entire midfield doesnt seem to know what they should be doing.

Coquelin Xhaka and Iwobi wouldn't look out of place as the Central three midfield in relegation fodder.

When him and Santi were in the mid-field together it worked well - Coq just defended whilst Santi set up the forward play and pulled the strings.

According to the mirror and telegraph,Sanchez had a massive row during the week with the other players and walked off the training pitch,so for team harmony he was dropped to the bench

agreed Wenger should have looked for a Santi replacement, badly missed, team not the same without him
