Sounds like Nabil Fekir is our 'replacement' for Ozil (and Sanchez :roll: ) £60M they say, look they say - we spend big!, then we will recoup most/all of it by saving wages and possibly getting a fee for one or both of Ozil and Sanchez.

Not seen a lot of him but is highly rated but I just don't think he can be anywhere near Sanchez level yet and with Wenger in charge it doesn't matter who we sign he wont use them correctly anyway.

It's a no win situation really - we need the season to go really tits up to make Wenger leave next summer but in doing so we are out of the CL and wont be able to attract the best players and will get more "austerity" measures in place by the poisonous American regime, however if we do well, which at this point really revolves around winning cups - the EL gets us back in the CL etc. then Wenger will stay on.

:censored: :banghead:

If he is to be the Ozil replacement will he get the nickname lazy Fekir ?

BBC Website:

Arsenal will make another attempt to sign Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling, 22, in January. (Daily Mail)

Why on earth would he want to leave a team he is playing for regularly, a team that at the moment appear ‘un-stoppable’ to play for a manager who needs sectioning and for a Team who will most likely finish outside of the top 5 this season???

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Arsenal are unlikely to continue their pursuit of 22-year-old Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar, having had a £90m deadline day bid turned down by the French club at the end of the summer transfer window. (Mirror)

Again, why would he want to play for a club that gets worse and worse season by season because the manger is inept and the owner only interested in profit.?

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, 68, wants to manage a side at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar

Has no one explained to the senile cunnt that Arsenal are a ‘Club’ not a country !?

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Arsenal have "almost done" a £60m deal for 24-year-old Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir, whose arrival will help offset the departures of unsettled duo Mesut Ozil, 29, and Alexis Sanchez, 28.

Is that the same ‘almost done’ as the ‘almost done’ excuse they have used these past Two decades when they almost signed what we now refer to as our 'Virtual Squad' ? ……. Besides how on earth can One player/signing make up for the manager’s Utter Incompetence as a manager and his complete failure to negotiate new contracts for our two best players?

BBC Website:

Arsenal's German playmaker Mesut Ozil wants Barcelona to pay him 370,000 euros (£329,559) a week to join them in January. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is willing to let the 29-year-old leave, as long as he does not join Manchester United on a free transfer next summer.

That's it wenger pay £43Million+ for a player then let him go on a free...wenger knows :roll: :banghead:

Not sure how well he would go down at Barca considering he used to play for Madrid. I thought an out of contract player is free to negotiate with anyone from January, so if he really wanted to go to United, we couldn't stop him.

Cant negotiate with a club in the same country until contract has run out - you can put that rule in the book containing santa clause and the tooth fairy :roll:

"legendary Frenchman" :coffeespit:

It was back in 2013, anyone remember why we wouldn't have gone for him or was it just a case of Arsene being tight?

So Arsene can't even spot the best players in FRANCE these days?, yet he is still the best manager in Europe to take us forward?.

Griezmann will end up at OT and probably score a hatrick when Merchandise United beat us 5-0 next season.
