Re: My First Arsenal Team
First Arsenal match I went to - Seaman, Dixon, Bould, Keown, Adams, Winterburn, Hughes, Platt, Vieira, Bergkamp, Wright.
9 English players and Parlour off the bench!
Some of my earliest memories were as a little boy being allowed to stay up late in the week to watch the Arsenal and seeing my favourite player of all time IWWW8 running around like a lunatic.
Funnily enough the two strongest memories are him breaking Ogrizovic's nose and two-footing Schmeichel!

Re: My First Arsenal Team
Jennings, Hill, Samson, Whyte, Caton, Davis, Allison, Cork, Meade, Nicholas and Woodcock.
Vs Birmingham it was a 1-1 draw. Nicholas scoring a penalty, his first Arsenal goal at Highbury. I remember being in awe of seeing the great Pat Jennings our superstar striker Charlie Nicholas score a goal. Also, having the worst cup of tea ever...no sugar, no milk, the dregs of the urn.

Of the lineups quoted that's the closest era to the first Arsenal team I saw live:
David Seaman, Lee Dixon, Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Nigel Winterburn, Remi Garde, Marc Overmars, Ray Parlour, Patrick Vieira, Nicolas Anelka
Dennis Bergkamp
Finished 1-1 against Newcastle with Anelka getting our goal.

Re: My First Arsenal Team
I thought the scorer of one of the most iconic Arsenal goals ever had curlier hair but maybe he had one of them dodgy 80s perms but the other 2 were easy to spot
