Anyone bailing out and if so where to?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was thinking that I'd take in a few more Granada games now that they've been relegated; thinking that they'd do well and the tickets would be cheaper, but they've lost 3-0 to Millwall in a friendly, so I think I'm in for a long, painful season whatever I do.

Is Adams still there?

He is, but not as manager (despite his played 7, lost 7 record).

Orient are my second team and I love what is going on there currently.

Being royally screwed over by Becchetti, relegated from the football league they have only gone and sold the highest amount of season tickets in the ladt 16 years or something like that.

Fans have really pulled togethet and a real community spirit there now.

There is only one team in my heart however so I'm going nowhere.

Went to see Southend United play Blackburn on Saturday. Doesn't seem that long ago we were playing them in the premier league.
I was shocked to see that you can actually move the ball forward without having to make 20 side passes.

Great 2-1 win for Southend as Blackburn are favourites to go straight back up.

Looking like a great summer in the cricket. England beat South Africa in the Test series, first time at home since 1998, and Essex are top of the County Championship. Just stuffed Yorkshire away in less than two days :barscarf:

First organised Southend away trip to Walsall today. Got there at 12:30 found a pub with 16 real ales on. Got in the ground at exactly 3pm, good singing and a one nil win. What's not to like?

Same thing next week for the first round of the FA cup away at Yeovil.

The football is nowhere near premier league level, yet it is so nice not to have to deal with all the shit that is the Arsenal nowadays.
