BGV To take over as Academy Manager

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

BGV To take over as Academy Manager

Post by GoonerMuzz »

Reports in the press that the BGV is to take over as Manager of the Academy next year:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... my-manager

More jobs for the 'loyal' boys, club is truly becoming a total joke, what's he going to teach them, how to jump out of the way of shots and free kicks  :banghead:

Christ, it really is jobs for the boys isn't it? :x

The most cowardly fucking player I've ever seen on a football pitch heading up the academy? FFS.

I can just imagine it now.

First day's lessons with BVG at the helm:

1. How to duck out of the way of a football

2. How to turn slower than a pint of Curdled Milk

3. How to slip one's tongue firmly up Wenger's wrinkled crack

4. How to steal a living at Arsenal FC

It fuckin' STINKS!! :banghead: :cussing:

Seriously i just can't see anything he brings as Manager of the Academy, not even sure he's done his badges yet, but i suppose the time off last season and next gives him plenty of time.

As for the shout of next Manager would anyone actually be surprised

One of the biggest fucking bell-ends to play for the club in recent years and that says something. Why bother trying to get an experienced academy director in when you can give it to a complete *word censored* with no experience? Fuck off.

Struggle to think of many players I would be less keen to keep on as an academy coach.
