Best place you've watched Arsenal on TV

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sheffield Wednesday replay in a bar in Rhodes with my son in full Arsenal regalia , among a sea of Northern pillocks mainly from Leeds . Barman said at the end as I bought another drink he wished they had won because at the final whistle the bar emptied , just me and my 12 year old left.

Rob , I saw that match in a bar in Dalyan in Turkey , Not the best day of the holiday neither was the Liverpool debacle seen in Spain.

A bar in San Francisco UEFA cup final 2000. Drove across from Reno overnight as the game wasn't showing it in any casino. Got to the bar 30 mins before kick off, got very drunk with a female British international squash player, who supported Arsenal. Typically, a Tottenham supporter turned up to support galatasary.

Any chance you remember the name or where in the city it was? Only asking since I live there.

Sorry can't remember the name of the bar it was 17 years ago. I stayed at the Howard Johnson at fisherman wharf and it was 3 or 4 blocks away towards Haight-Ashbury.

Watched the Reading game in the Turtle Shack on Sal,Cape Verde a few years ago, looking out over the Atlantic ocean with a big beautiful empty beach,a big storm blew in and ballsed up the TV reception and rain pissed in through the roof but it was stlll petty cool,I think we won about 6-1 if I remember.

Worst has to be in various NYC bars, don't think I've ever seen us win there,in fact one time v United stands out when we got beat 4-2 I think at Highbury, the place was full of plastic Mancs who'd never been to OT,I remember my mate dragging me out after I threw a pint glass at a bloke in a Roy Keane t-shirt who was standing on the bar goading the couple of Arsenal in there, pretty embarrassing now I think about it,

Worst place was at a bar in Corfu watching Arsenal getting beaten by Thessalonika on a big box black and white television set, with dodgy reception, and accompanied by 6 locals taking the piss. Humiliating!

A packed bar in Paphos, Cyprus 20th April 1995.

ECWC SF second leg away at Sampdoria. Me and one other Gooner, surrounded by a varied assortment of northerners, mainly mancs, who had adopted Samp for the night.

Schwarz scored on 89 minutes to even the tie over the two legs; but the fella who was with me did not seem to understand how away goals worked. He was convinced that, having lost the away match 3-2 we were out, and left the bar to go home when the final whistle went after 90 minutes. He missed ET and pens.

When Spunky saved Lombardo's spot kick I went mental.

As for the northerners in the bar - ain't it strange how they go quiet, lose interest in beer and melt away when things don't go 'their way'?

In a bar next to the Villareal ground during 2006 semi. One friend and I in a bar, otherwise, full of Spaniards. They celebrated when penalty given, we celebrated harder when Leman saved it.....they were ok about it but we left shortly afterwards!

In a Club in Moscow having my balls licked clean by a hooker whilst covered in enough powder to make al pacino jealous !
We were playing cska Moscow the weather was shit so we just stayed with our hosts with whom one of ours did some legitimate business.
These same people were extremely helpful when the Bear died as the authorities initially told us it would take 2 months to get him back .
2 phone calls later and his body was brought home the following day .
