The PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Last time we beat Bayern in a preseason friendly was 1988. That's a good oman
Oman only ranks as the 74th most peaceful country in the world according to the Global Peace Index, so it's not THAT good.

Has Kolasinac played in any of the friendlies yet (haven't watched or followed any)?
Does he look any good?

Tons of empty seats it appeared, Milan vs Dortmund played in front of an empty stadium yesterday in Guangzhou. China doesn't care, we don't care - what's the point of it all?

Just watched the highlights and believe me it was BAD.

Lacazette!? He did play - first half and missed a sitter. :?

Bayern could and should have been 5 Nil up by half-time they were all over us, Elneny and this youngster o 30 Niles/Nialles? was WOEFUL...so will most likely get a few 1st team games next season...Walcott was "pants" (Again). Cech went off that is how/why we managed to "Scrape" a win on Pens....I have yet to see him save a penalty for Arsenal.

Fill yer boots but don't blame me if watching it depresses you and/or makes you angry. :|

Saw the highlights and noticed how Ozil and Lacazette both had one on ones and hit it straight at the keeper.

Just watched the England v Scotland womens match. What an enjoyable game it was and the finishing was superb.
That Jodie Taylor is awesome! If you watch the highlights watch how the one on ones are put either side of the GK.

Good job Sanchez didn't go, don't think he would have like sweet and sour dog with cat chow mein. They are savages over there.
