The PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Maitland- miles is a worry for me, seems to be rated by Wenger and on the edges of the squad but has looked out of his depth everytime I've seen him play.
And I think I'm going to lose patience with xhaka very quickly, gave him the benefit last year as it was his first season...but I'm struggling to see what he brings to the party.
he brings arrongance, selfies, good hair and a nice smile, jeez what do you expect for only 35m we cant compete with city blah blah blah

Imagine having your most expensive striker in history made to look pub league and then hooking him off for donkey Giroud.

If you want a glimpse into next season's tragic hilarity, this is it.

Ive told my mates, that as we are now obviously only a cup team I shall only moan about wenger during cup games. For the league games I shall sit smugly back and watch it implode. People had the chance to make their opinion known last season..and most couldn't be arsed...we now have at least 2 more years to suffer because of it.

Yep our only hope of regaining top 4 status is that Spurs struggle at Wembley, even then it's a longshot without Sanchez.

AKB's will just accept it though, blaming the money City, Chelsea and United spend and that we can't compete, not Wenger's fault etc.

6th next season would be where I'd put my money.

Sh*t owner, sh*t manager, average players and a bored, apathetic fan base.

I'm convinced they threw the final to ensure that TFOC would stay. How else can you explain it when 9 times out of 10 they piss all over us without breaking sweat.

Was like watching any of the games at the Bridge over the past decade - weave some pretty little patterns in front of them before irresponsibly giving the ball away and getting caught on the break.

I'm sure our resident genius will have it all sorted come day 1 of the season though......I mean when does he ever have us going into the season undercooked eh ?
