The PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Positives - Kolasinac is built like a tank but had a solid game, looks a good player for £0.
Reiss Nelson looks a brilliant prospect at 17.

Negatives - Club record signing forced to play on the wings to accommodate the donkey, a good indication of how shit for brains is planning on playing him. Looked slow and distinctly average when he came on.

No cricket to play or watch because of the weather so decided to watch this shit because it was on. Standard Conglomerates Cup fayre which will send the tourists and AKBs home happy, clutching their bag of goodies from the Armoury.

That kid everyone is pulling their pisser over looked decent but we all know about TFOC's record with so called "wonderkids". Expect his new found fame and fortune to go to his head, TFOC to drain the talent out of him and Palace or Wham to sign him in summer 2020. Of course if he does "make it" despite Wenger, he won't be hanging around here long.

Early days I know but Lacazette's first touch is seriously concerning. Giroud is definitely better in that aspect. Hopefully Lacazette is better in the "score some goals and don't pound the turf when you miss a sitter in an important match" aspect.

Also his first touch and passing were off, early days yet though....

Kolasniac also looked a willing runner up for the fight, early days though sure we will knock that out of him......and become like the rest...."with other teams wanting it more than us"...to quote Walcott

Not watching it but not surprised.
I think Lacazette will turn out to be an expensive "Chamak"

yes all looking very familiar.....Wellbecks poor finishing, Ozil drifting along, Ramseys back heels, and Cech so slow to get to ground......

Sanchez has carried this lot for the last few years...

Hope the new guy is just nervous, as he does not look right at present, mind you may look a different player after he scores....thats what i am hoping anyway....

on the plus side the 2 fullbacks looked decent against Benfica....

What i have seen cannot see a title challenge from this lot.....especially if Sanchez leaves

Chamberlain only bright spot......Wellbeck and Iwobi will never be good enough to be in the Arsenal first 11
