It's back, other games this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think I get more pleasure watching the Mancs and their plastic fans and c.unt of a manager getting their knickers in a twist than I do seeing us win these days. Its normally the third season before he falls our publically with the owner/board/key players/media, but it seems Pep's success has fucked him off so much he can't resist it already! Truly one of the c.unts of the modern game and hopefully becoming a busted flush, years behind the modern approach of Guardiola. Not a specialist in failure yet but can't see him winning the title these days with his boring brand of football and spiteful attitude to management generally
Read an article over the past few days ,can't remember by who, that said Mourinho is deliberately setting himself up to have a row with the owners just so he can walk or be sacked..The reason for this is that he knows he cannot compete with Pep at City...Nothing to do with clubs or cross city rivalry, just his ego being hurt .

Genuinely thought palace would beat city yesterday, so the draw wasn't a surprise. They'll lose a couple of games in row as Barcelona and Bayern did under pep, then they'll pick up their game again.

Attendance was stated as 53,556 which only like 1,000 below capacity?, unless they use the same 'trick' as us and state tickets sold rather than people through the turnstiles..

Must be. Watched it on MOTD and there were rows upon rows of empty seats.

Xmas fixtures are getting ridiculous. The scum play on Tuesday, Thursday and presumably a cup game over the weekend.

Can you imagine what Wenger would say if that was our schedule?

It was our schedule in 10/11
Beat defending champions Chelsea 3-1 on the Monday
Drew 2-2 at Wigan on the Wednesday
Won 3-0 at Birmingham on the Saturday who had lost once at home in 29 games
Wenger said we are now ready to win the title
It was that run at the end of the season that and the beginning of the following that should have seen him sacked but aside from the rotation that saw us lose a lead at Wigan
It was a reasonable return from the fixtures
And just the way the cookie crumbles from the fixture list
Is there no end to things people can find to moan about how bad things are at the club
Quasi praising Spurs who beat Swansea drew withWest Ham and a game against a third tier team at home?

Watching that Liverpool derby cup tie tonight, I noticed Chamberlain playing in the countinho role, which he did well but nowhere near the quality. It was obvious that VVD was going to score and that Liverpool keeper looked a bit preKarius at clearing the ball.

Liverpool fans on social media wetting themselves over VVD..One saying he was worth £140m after last night...Game wasn't high on quality but was very high on energy.

See the magic of the FA Cup was alive and well at Fleetwood today on the BBC.
The ground is packed because a premier league side is in town (well, their reserves are). They're not football fans so it is so quiet you can actually hear what the mangers are shouting. The game was utter shite and predictably a draw.

The magic of the cup...
