Dick Law stepping down

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Dick Law stepping down

Post by sk-gtfo »

------------------------------------

Apparently we are thinking about whether we replace him or not?!, now I'm not his biggest fan, at the end of the day his job is to sort out contracts and as he is leaving as our two best players contracts are just about to expire I don't think he's done a very good job!, however if we're not going to replace him who is going to do his job?, another hat for Mr Wenger?.

Credited with closing out the Ozil deal. As good as Ozil is, he wasn't what we needed at the time. Law is not the problem, Wenger is.

When did he step up ?

Other than sign Vela , Campbell , Asano and probably a few more that couldn't get work permits . What was his value ?

I trust he will be suitably honoured by the club - a bridge named after him or a statue perhaps ?

Good riddance to bad rubbish. It's a shame that TOF and SK aren't following this failure out the door too :censored:

Is that actually his fault though? Presumably he can only negotiate with the players with Wenger's authority and within his parameters.
