Lacazette is too slow and weak for this league. He can piss it against the bottom half at home and in Ligue 1 but he will struggle like he did today. Would even take Lukaku over him and I can't stand Lukaku.
He's only played 4 or5 games.
And? He was the same in France, but that league is shite so he looked much better than he actually is.

Too short, no strength or rapid pace to create chances from nothing. Probably the worst player on the pitch today and rightly subbed. Doesn't bode well that the club record signing is having shockers so early into the season. Misses a sitter that any half decent striker would have buried and probably cost us the 3 pts.
Bergkamp didn't score in his 1st 6 games
Looked way off the pace in the home games v notts forest

I was at Islington town hall yesterday morning, waiting for the open top bus carrying the heroes of Stamford Bridge :barscarf: . What happened? 8)

In all seriousness it was a good performance and a well earned point on Sunday from what little I saw of it. But we've seen this before and it has never led to anything meaningful.

I noticed RatFace Neville praised Wenger for getting a result at Chelsea though. Funny that a few weeks back it was entirely the players fault for getting thrashed at Liverpool

This game was actually further proof of why Wenger needs to go ... because we need a manager who can get that type of disciplined performance out of the team on a regular basis. It is clear they most of those involved (new signings and Sanchez excepted) were mainly motivated by trying to save their own skins ... something they'll do before the delusion and complacency inevitably resurfaces.

All true, mate. But this is Wenger's Modern Arsenal, flat track bullies and inconsitent as hell. I said on another thread that we (like the mousers) will have a few great wins, hammer a couple teams, lose to utter shit a couple times, take a couple of hammerings, and ultimately scrap it out for 6th, 5th or 4th (maybe even 3rd  ) and maybe go on a cup run or even win a cup. And that's not me being some kind of footballing oracle - that's just where we and the PL in general are, and have been for 10 years. It's all predictable as fuck. :|

In the grand scheme of things Wenger is not the worst manager in the PL. But unfortunately for us he is the worst man to be our manager, and at a club like Arsenal with our resources, fan base, history and pedigree, he has chronically underachieved and failed to deliver properly for a decade. :|

Agree with all that mate. So far we're seeing the same thing we always see. The only way we get any variation to a season is when the fixture list falls differently. Our 3 away games this season are fixtures we'd rarely get more than a point from so despite being 12th we are not doing any worse than normal. The league position will improve. I cant see Arsenal finishing lower than 5th based purely on the inadequacies of other teams.

Only watched one game all season, Liverpool away on TV.
As far as I can tell it is business as usual, flat track wins against the poorer sides and failing to beat anyone half decent.

I see that we have a few easier games coming up so I'd imagine by the middle of October our more guillable fans will be talking about the title.

Nothing changes....

In your opinion, what do you think needs to be done to turn things around(if anything)?

Get rid of Wenger (10+ years past it), Gazidis (snake and a liar) and Kroenke (parasite).
We need desperately to change the idea that success is based on how much profit you make rather than what goes on the pitch.

That is why I have protested for the past two seasons at the games. I made the decision after last season that I will no longer go the game until at least Wenger is gone.

Out come the selfies and statements of we can compete with the big clubs.......
Fuck me chavs away and we get a draw, remember a time when we regularly took all the points...and a bit further back the shed as well
I remember being surrounded in the shed in 1974 shitting myself
It was one of my first ever away games
I believed that the 3-1 win was what would always happens
But it was 19 years and 12 visits until we would win there again
A period that even covered the 90/91 season where losing there was our only defeat
It was a good point Sunday.
If only we could trust Wenger to build on it
It would be better than any roller coaster win
Give me shape and discipline all day long and earning your right to play football
I am sick to death of seeing us with no plan whatsoever

Last season I picked up a Sky TV package, fully kitted it out with everything plus BT Sport and started watching the games. Fell in love with Arsenal immediately. That all progressed rather quickly and before I knew it I picked up the new third kit top and got myself a red membership ready to buy tickets where possible.

With all that, I slowly found myself in the community and realised the huge mess Arsenal was in and has been over the years but I still want to be there chanting for the team weekly. I dunno what it is, but it really has hooked me.
That will have a few on here seething....
Have to ask, Wenger Out, In or don't care?
Out. However, I am very new to the scene so that is based on the very little I've seen and read about over the last year or so.
What is the general consensus on here?
That is a question best put to Laughing Gooner and to Rodders when we have lost.

Myself and Augie fly the flag for the AKB's on this forum, the rest of the idiots on here should be careful what they wish for 8)

Fuck me chavs away and we get a draw, remember a time when we regularly took all the points...and a bit further back the shed as well
My older brother (May He Rest In Peace) was there on the day of the Machete's and the Bike Chains - A Warm day and they wore rain coats and the like till (so I was told) they were in the middle of the shed end then unleashed hell upon the chavs.....Claret Everf'ingwhere...though I'm sure Herd can confirm/deny/dismiss.
Old school Chelsea will confirm Arsenal back in the day.....remember yellow paint day......battle of Earls Court with dozens of geysers running around with crash helmets and blocks of wood....and bit further back Arsenal taking the shed in about 1969, images on the web...they had a big skinhead following like Chelsea...all nonsense agreed but suppose its terrace history...Arsenal carried on in the shed early 1970s....
including a testimonial i remember....
Another time Arsenal in shed getting escorted to North stand and Chelsea infiltrating , got close to the fencing and started singing.....a couple tried to get in but got battered...remember one chav hanging upside down on the fence....which was comical....
Just a bit different nowadays.......all daft stuff i know but still memories of a different age...

I've a feeling we're gonna get a result, I really hope we do as a defeat and it all spirals out of control again.
don't you want it to spiral out of control?do you not want wenger sacked?have you not had a gut full the past 13 seasons?? are you 10 years old?
Nah I don't want things to spiral out of control, I want Arsenal to win. I'm happy when they win, not lose. We got a good result and played well but I'm sure given that you're 'Wenger Out' you'll likely still complain anyway. I would however say that you're more likely 10 than I am given that you're an internet troll but don't worry I'll not lower myself. I have my own opinion on the Wenger thing, but it's a boring debate now to be honest so not even getting into it. Have a good weekend and fingers crossed 3 points against West Brom.
