FRANK DE BOER SACKED

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Totally the wrong appointment. As much as I dislike him, Palace were going places under Allardyce.

And I'll do my bit to get this merged - that's how to deal with an under achieving manager.

never going to happen but it would be really interesting if Wenger took over at somewhere like Palace to see whether he would improve them or not.
I reckon that he would get them relegated :D

Mid to lower half, they would have got there and tread water for the next decade under Fat Sam. That's about his limit...another Pulis, Woy, Wenger...... Would you like to see him come to us??..... actually he might just do a job for us...I can't stand the bloke though so wouldn't work for me.

Unquestionably...and I'm not kidding either...Can you imagine him against the Top 6 teams.... double figure losses...and again I'm not kidding.

Holloway, Pulis, Warnock, Pardew, Alladyce, De Boer. Did Frank look at that glittering line-up of managerial cuntery and still think he could turn palace into Ajax?

It's getting to the point where managers are redundant in modern football. A manager is supposed to establish a culture at the football club, lay down the tactical setups, overlook progression of academy players and they are expected to learn on the job. How can any manager know enough about his squad after four fucking games to be objectively judged and held accountable to a team's success?

Just be done with managers full stop and get a robotic simulation of big sam that's pre-programmed to come out with recorded soundbites like "Ay oop- stay close to your man", or "First one int'tackle doesn't get hurt".
