So the lucky fucker gets get another easy cup home draw, avoiding all the big boys who mostly play each other.

His 3 FA Cup wins in 4 seasons were largely a reflection of that amazing fortune in drawing easy teams and occasionally pulling out a performance against a good one. I can see him squirming his way to another final if this goes on.

It was mentioned on Talkshite this morning....... "Cor Arsenal get some cup draws don't they, always at home"

The deal he made continues to hold firm.

19 shots off target.

Wonder what we should be practising.
To be fair, we also need to practice our defending.

We've mastered the sideways pass though
You would think we invented it!

No mate. Ray Wilkins invented it

He will never win this useless cup. It's the first trophy of the season and the timing of the fixture usually makes them trickier to navigate than the FA cup which doesn't start till almost half way through the season. He has his eyes set on getting back in the top 4 so everything else will take a backseat.

Glad we won even if the performance wasn't great.

On Sunday we drew with Chelsea and looked their equal on the day.
Last night Doncaster looked our equal and were unlucky not to at least get a draw. Yes we made 11 changes but still had some first team players on show.
Sanchez didn't look at the races imo.

Used to have a soft spot for this competition with memories of the semi final at shit hole in 87. But the most recent name change and obvious pandering to plastic overseas fans, coupled with my loss of interest in the club as a whole, means I couldn't give a fuck. I take it we won in classic lucky, unconvincing Wenger style?

Harsh of me to have a pop at them because to be honest I don't know a whole lot about the young lads who played last night but having read a bit about the game it seems SFB* played most of em out of position.....quelle surprise

Really boring game to be honest...
Could have finished at least 3 - 0 but Theo is becoming the new Welbeck

Our defense looked shaky. Really laking confidence in the younger lot at the back. Our sheer pace (or Doncasters lack of) basically saved us on multiple occasions where we lost silly balls.

Wilshere looked good above all things though. Great to see him have a full 90 mins...

Obviously didn't watch the game, but how is it with our starting line up we are only beating a league one side 1-0?

I watch league one every week now (Southend United) and we should be doing much better than that.

Was it a case of scoring early and then just going through the motions?

:D Made me smile when Spurs fans started calling Vinny Samways, Vinny Sideways. Quite funny for those :censored: I thought!
