You CANNOT defend our defending, in fact our play in general ...we are absolutely dogshite. Their keeper handed us a goal & the ref gave us another, could easily be 2 - 2.

Despite scoring twice, Theo Walnut is the absolute worst player on the pitch for both teams. He's fucking dog shit.

Well we got away with that. The Belariusian pub side was slightly worse than our semi-pub side :barscarf:

The Old Fraud took the piss with that match squad of future non-league plodders. Clearly this competition means nothing to him and the failed Project Youth lingers on, six years after the infamous trolley dash of 2011 supposedly ended it. TOF just loves that 'internal transfer market', doesn't he? Shame they learn nothing under his regime and they end up down the leagues, if not out of the game altogether by the age of 20.

We were unlucky with Walcott hitting the post early on. Then Wheelchair finally earned his wages with that assist for Walcott's opening goal, then he scored a goal which was wrongly ruled offside. We dicked around on the ball as we usually do, but the early goal calmed the usual frustration of our play.

Then again, we still let BATE have a few chances on our goal. Our defence was being pulled out of position and having to run towards our own goal, leaving space in front on the box for a shot wide. Thankfully, their keeper set up our second goal by passing it to Walcott to practically kill the game after 22 minutes. Then Holding scored his first Arsenal goal a few minutes from a corner with what seemed like a lucky deflection.

Typical Arsenal though, we concede soon after from crossed high ball headed into our goal with Ospina too short to get much on it. So we couldn't even get a whitewash out of this. Then BATE looked more dangerous than us, putting Ospina under pressure, having to save from a free kick that our defence failed to block. Before half-time Walcott had a good chance put wide by the keeper, then we hit the post again.

Fortunately got us, BATE gifted us with a soft penalty early in the second half, which the Ear-Cupper slotted away for his 100th Arsenal goal, giving him a goals per game ratio of 0.42 (or 42%). Then midway through the half, we contrive to gift them another goal with some fucking amateurish defending, as has been the standard since the days of Adams, Keown and Campbell. We seemed to be doing our best to do another Anderlecht. BATE miss a chance to make it 4-3.

They put us under a fair bit pressure, just as Doncaster had in the second half in the League Cup. Crazy! Whilst we made our customary late substitutions, this time swapping pubbers for pubbers. Like Doncaster, another tortuous and awful victory

John Hartson talks too damn much for a co-commentator. Plus he's another one who points out our failings season after season, but never makes the connection to TOF's dereliction of duty and wilful failure, preferring to lose in his way, than win in another way, the bloody minded old fool. Despite only playing under him for four and a half months before being sold to West Ham, Hartson is just as pussy-whipped as the likes of Keown when it comes to absolving their fraud and master.

We should be winning this Europa League this season. No excuses. But TOF will do his best to make sure he never wins a European trophy in his miserable life. It is disgusting that we are stuck with this unambitious excuse for an accountant as manager for the rest of his life, which could be another 20 years plus. He refuses to go for the low hanging fruit, he just wants to win the Be All and End All with a non-coached team of mostly shite. It will never happen!

I still wanted a game in Kazakhstan though. The 1,200 miles to Belarus was not far away enough for TOF to travel

Hartson... Great night for Arsenal, Wenger has been brave and we scored 4 goals away from home in a tricky tie (Wonder what he would call Chelsea's tie last night??) and we bloodied some youngsters. That last bit is the ONLY part he got right, other clubs youngsters get blooded, ours get bloodied.

Dumb PRICK!!
