brighton game thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Lacazette's performance is worrying - seems very wasteful
I think he will be Giroud, part 2. He will score a decent(but not prolific) amount of goals and will look good in some games, but miss easy chances in others.

Brighton know we can be got at. With a bit more luck they would be level.

Ramsey had to score there.

This game has been littered with errors from both teams.

He needs to work on his mobility and fitness levels. I think he gives defenders an easy ride by strolling around too much.

Xhaka and Ramsey once again playing like idiots bombing forward together and abandoning the midfield. Xhaka then nearly gives away a penalty by going to ground unnecessarily. He is so slow and has no sense no sense of urgency.

It's hilarious how none of the pundits watching this game, notices the obvious lack of a plan by the manager. We as usual are attacking with not a thought given to what happens if we lose the ball. The Chelsea game aside, every team we have played this season, have only needed to have pace in their team, to cause us problems. Imagine if we took a 1-0 lead today with Mourinho as the manager, the game would be over, but with Wenger i can see this being a draw.

I just can't warm to Ramsey. He is the playing image of Wenger and reflects everything that's wrong with this club. He pulls the occasional good performance out of the bag and just does enough to keep his critics at bay.

People question whether Wilshere has a future at the club......and then we witness more of the same fucking shit from Xhaka and Ramsey again today. Honestly is there a worse £30m+ midfielder anywhere in the world than that useless wanker.......its almost impossible to make the wrong pass or tackle as many times as he does. Absolutely thick as pig shit

Yet again TV gods avoiding showing the upper tiers at all, wonder what the 'actual' attendance is.

Ramsey and Iwobi have no spatial sense whatsoever, why do they keep cramping the centre of the pitch and giving no room to the strikers, it makes it so easy for the defence when you have to mark 5 players in about 20 sq feet :banghead:
