We are the perfect opponents for a struggling team. We'll turn up with our flip flops on and wonder why the nasty opposition don't stand back and admire our beautiful, sideways 5 yard passing routines.
Shitty 1-1 draw

I posted similar in another thread. We are the perfect team to play when you need a big win. Koeman must be wanking himself into a coma at the thought of this gift of a fixture.Jumpers For Goalposts wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 8:32 amWe are the perfect opponents for a struggling team. No hope going into this match. Not surprised if Everton comes out looking for a fight we just let them walk over us.

Couldn't agree more. I only went for a 1-1 draw because Everton are clearly struggling for confidence. If the home crowd get behind the Toffees, our delicate little flowers could easily crumble, as they have in most away matches recently.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 8:36 amI posted similar in another thread. Away record reads 1 point from possible 12.
1 goal scored and 7against.
Absolutely pathetic.
The French fraud said a couple of weeks ago that our season will depend on our home form and you can see why. He knows he's in deep trouble. A tactically inept manager + average squad = We are heading for a shambolic season make no mistake about that.

I never back us away..never, because you just cannot trust our lot.
BUT, Everton are absolutely dreadful and they just cannot score. They were under siege at Brighton and only equalised through a penalty in injury time.
I think if we score, we win

the really depressing thing about this game is that the narrative will all be about how Ronald Koeman is under so much pressure, and might lose his job.
Wenger will turn up, without having studied the opposition, instruct his players to "play" and then they will get beaten up there like they did last season. the narrative will then be "Koeman has turned a corner" and "same old problems for Arsenal", without of course looking at why it is the same old problems...

I flicked over to the chav game last night for about 5 minutes and they happened to focus on Ancelloti watching the game. The commentator said something along the lines of ..."no manager can feel comfortable with an outstanding manager like Ancelloti, who is looking for a club, watching on" The first thing that instantly came into my mind was "Except Wenger"Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 9:31 amthe really depressing thing about this game is that the narrative will all be about how Ronald Koeman is under so much pressure, and might lose his job.

How wonderful that must be, comfortably ensconced in that big comfy coat, like his players completely oblivious to danger, earning a fortune and immune from anything that happens on the pitch. What a life huh?

Hopefully we lose every game - if it means the end of the regime, gone past the point of no return now..
